Soubi smiled softly to himself when he saw the light shining from Ritsuka's balcony
So I finally have a new drabble. I've been so busy T.T Anyway, yeah, this was for a challenge. I think it's cute, but not my best.
Disclaimer: I do not own Loveless. If I did… Well, I don't know, there'd probably be smex in the manga by now.
Soubi smiled softly to himself when he saw the light shining from Ritsuka's balcony. It would seem that the boy had left the curtain open in anticipation of the fighter's visit. How cute; Soubi would be sure to tease the young boy about his eagerness.
The artist was about to open the glass sliding door, but when he looked through the glass door he noticed Ritsuka was sleeping. He drank in the sight. Soubi rarely got to see the boy looking so vulnerable. While awake, Ritsuka was so serious and grown up. The blonde couldn't bring himself to walk into the room and disturb the young sacrifice's peaceful slumber. He simply stood a little longer to watch the boy.
"Soubi! Why didn't you come see me last night?" Ritsuka demanded when the man met him after school had let out.
Soubi smiled that infuriating secretive smile- the dead give away to a lie- and said, "I had a project to work on."
The young boy scowled and muttered, "Don't lie."
Soubi continued to smile. "Who's lying?"
Ritsuka glared and stomped off, tail flicking in annoyance.
Soubi shook his head and walked after his sacrifice, still smiling. Despite what Ritsuka thought, sometimes it was better to lie.
