Parallel
There is a stream of misery in the back of his mind, always flowing in the same direction, never to stop, always subordinated by the latest problem plaguing the universe.
He feels closer to her now, here on Earth, like he can reach out and touch the parallel and finally pull her back where she belongs, by his side.
This is one of those lonely days when he misses her more than he ever thought possible. Especially now. She might be standing in the same place he is, on the other side, forever his parallel.

a/n: thanks for reading. I'd really appreciate reviews; this is my first for Doctor Who and I'd like some constructive feedback.
