Karin doesn't show it, but she's pretty happy about it. "Finally, a no-nonsense member of the family," she says.

Yuzu congratulates them both, but Kenpachi cowers at the feeling of her battle aura whne she mentions that the Captain better take good care of Ichigo.

Chad doesn't say anything, instead he just nods.

Ishida pushes his glasses up, making them shine. "Good for you, Kurosaki," he says before muttering something under his breath about letting him design Ichigo's wedding dress.

Orihime is elated, going off into a fantastic story about their life together which has nothing to do with reality. Later that night she'll cry her eyes out and convince herself that as long as Ichigo is happy, she is happy.

Tatsuki, Keigo and Mizuiro can't believe, but they still congratulate them, awkwardly because Kenpachi looks at them like he's ready to tear them from limb to limb.

Kurosaki Isshin cries his eyes and heart out at the fact that his little boy has grown into a man, but soon throws his arms around Kenpachi, glad that at least his son's man is big and strong to protect him, and swears that he will kill him if he as much as dares to let Ichigo shed a tear. Kenpachi just slaps him away before the elder Kurosaki can actually wrap his arms around him.

Ichigo smiles and scoots closer to his boyfriend. Kenpachi grins, pulling Ichigo int a one-armed hug, leaning to whisper into his ear.

"And you thought this would be worse."
