Two words that describe House and Cuddy's relationship: bloody cute. It turned out that House who had slept over at Cuddy's place, both of them exchanging only a few lingering kisses before drifting off. "HOUSE, REPORT TO CUDDY'S OFFICE IMMEDIATELY!" Cuddy's voice rang through the whole floor and the nurses rolled their eyes. What did House do now? They soon noticed House limping down the hallway, twirling a bra around like a baton smugly. The nurses were definitely distracted now. They turned their attention to Cuddy's office, some trying as hard as to press their ears against the door, hoping to get some juicy information.
Inside the office, Cuddy was, as usual, screaming at House.
"House, how could you?!" she exclaimed. "I let you sleep over because you claim 'your mattress on your bed sucks' and you steal my bra?"
House shrugged and grinned wolfishly, "What can I say? I'm a fan of the twins," He jerked his head towards Cuddy's chest.
Cuddy rolled her eyes and folded her arms across her chest.
"Honestly, House," she said, shaking her head. "I'm going to run out of money if you keep stealing my bras… The Victoria Secret people already look at me funny."
"Well, why wouldn't they?" said House, shrugging again. "You're a freak."
"No, I think you're confusing me with you," explained Cuddy, as if she was talking to a five-year-old. "See, I'm a, I quote, 'gorgeous, hot, nice-legs, nice-ass' beauty. You," she waved a hand at House. "You, you're just an egotistic, limping, crippled bastard who doesn't deserve a girlfriend."
House grinned and asked teasingly, "So you're breaking up with me now?"
Cuddy couldn't help but grin back. She leaned into him and said softly, "I said you didn't deserve a girlfriend… not that I was breaking up with you. Or does your thick mind just can't interpret them?" She gave a laugh and continued airily, "Oh, there I go again, speaking words that you don't understand! I'm sorry, House," She grabbed his cheek and stretched it again and again until a sore House slapped his hand away.
Cuddy laughed and gave him a small peck on the cheek. She was about to draw away when suddenly, House grabbed her waist, pulling her towards him and gave her a thorough kiss on the lips. Cuddy wasn't at all surprised; she knew House would do that. It was the instinct that she had developed from working with House and dating him. She responded with enthusiasm but after a few seconds, she pulled away. She patted House's cheek, gave him another small kiss on the cheek and said, "Now off to work, House. You've got a new case, am I right?"
House grumbled and asked in a whiny tone, "Why can't I just stay here?"
"Because you're a doctor and you have to save lives, in order to get your salary." She walked over to the door, twisting the doorknob which made a squeaking noise, unconsciously warning the nurses outside her door to scurry away. "My place tonight, after work? Since there are actually groceries there?" she asked, while opening the door for House.
House laughed and kissed Cuddy on the nose endearingly, a trait that you didn't see often. Nevertheless, Cuddy was surprised. "It's a date," he promised.
Cuddy smiled and nodded, "It's a date."
