'Why do I even try anymore?' The pink haired kunoichi asked herself for the thousandth time 'I'm too weak, I couldn't even stop Sasuke-kun from leaving!' It was three years ago today when Sasuke left, left her.

She always saw herself as the weak link of team 7, its kind of hard not to when your surrounded by a chakra loaded kyuubi container and an 'Avenger' that wants more power to kill his only living family member. She hated Sasuke for what he did and thought she would never love him again.

'STUPID UCHIHA! WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS?!' Her inner raged, the noise made Sakura cringe and almost slip from the branch she was currently standing on. 'How about we not think of him right now? I have to focus on this stupid mission! ' She snapped back with equal fury. And for once her inner shut up and listened.

She was on a retrieval mission, it was simple really, she needed to get a scroll (the contents unknown to her) that the Akatsuki had been looking for and bring it back to Konoha. She had the advantage to the S-class criminals; she knew where the location of the scroll was. Now it was just a matter of time before she found it.

When she found the scroll she had the urge to open it and relieve her curiosity, but that wasn't going to happen, she had to get back to the village, these people weren't your average gang member or rouge ninja, these were the most ruthless, evil, heatless beings you could set your eyes on. And she killed one. So, no they wouldn't come after her! They wouldn't want to avenge there fallen comrade! The thought made her shudder ever-so-slightly.

As she gazed upon the trail she was fallowing something caught her eye, a wounded wolf cub. She went over to it to check the severity of its injuries. It was alive but barely it looked as if someone was trying to kill the poor thing, the cub had extensive injuries on its midsection. They were fresh, she could do it. Healing it was rather easy for the student of the hokage, but keeping it stabilized was harder then she first imagined. In the end with all her skills the little thing was up on its feet and running again in mere minutes.

"Your skills are greater then I thought, I'm surprised Haruno-san" came a cool voice from the shadows. Sakura turned her head, a moment to late. She felt a cool hand on her shoulder before she went into the dark abyss that is; unconsciousness.

A/N: Well here's the first chapter I realize that it's short but it's kind of a little taste so the big question is, is it worth it to go on? If you think so, R&R umm...yea im thinking like umm...5 reviews and ill go on? Yea i think that sounds reasonable Thankies for reading
