Bwahaha! I strike again with the crappy One Piece One shots! And this time, my prey is ZoroxAmie! Mwahahahaha!

Try to enjoy! I swear I'll work on TOPA!! I WILL!! XD

Zoro always had one goal in his life: to be the greatest swordsman. Plain and simple...

... Well, to him it was plain and simple. But that was his goal. He had absolutely no other goals in his life.

Then he met Luffy, and that added another goal to his list: to be the best swordsman for his captain. Again, that seemed simple enough for him, but it was kind of complicated, especially when they first started out. He'd rather not remember those days...

Next, he met Nami, and, of course, he had another goal: don't kill that crazy witch. Because that's what she was: a crazy witch. That was slightly more complicated.

Usopp then came along, and no, he didn't have a new goal. He did, however, have a larger drive to survive, just in case Usopp blew up the ship with his inventions. The simplicity of that wavered from day to day...

And then came Amelia, or "Amie-chan", as she would prefer to be called.

Meeting her at first, it confused him. He had no goals or anything like that. And thankfully, simplicity came with that. In loads.

That was until he saw her in the galley at sunset.

He was being bothered by Luffy, who was kicked out of the galley because he bugged her, and he was ordered to ask Amie-chan when dinner was ready. In case she got violent like Nami, he was quiet when opening the door, and froze as he looked at her. In normal light, she didn't seem like something too special. And granted, on stage, she was lively, but in the fading light of the sun, the way it made her hair glitter like gold and her eyes glisten with a certain softness, it made his stomach knot up, and he leaned a bit too far too quick to catch himself as the door creaked.

He didn't have a goal, just had a side-note: to not look at Amie at sunset. It gave him indigestion. Yeah, that's right. Indigestion.

So when nightfall came, and he was still outside, he wasn't intimidated, just easily riled by her. Why? She was being mysterious, and he hated too much mystery. Granted, she seemed genuinely kind and sweet, she still had a mysterious glint in her eyes. It made him on edge, just slightly.

And then she stood to go to bed, and the ship rocked, and when he stood to catch her, she fell right into his arms.

It was at that moment he had the worst bout of indigestion that he ever had, and it only got worse when she looked up at him and smiled.

He then had to add another side-note: Don't look at Amie-chan right in the eyes.

It only makes the indigestion worse...

Then, of course... oh, just making him think of this drove him mad...

...Sanji joined the crew...

When he first met the guy, he knew he was trouble. He was just a bloody womanizer! And then he had to go and smother Amie-chan!

... Not like he cared...

It just... caused his indigestion to return...

And by the time they got Nami back from Arlong Park, he finally had another goal to add to the list: to kill that stupid-shitty-dartboard-eyebrow-ero-cook. Even if it is only a little bit... turning into a lot if he smothered Amie-chan like that again...

It was bad for his indigestion, after all...

One day, he did take time to pause and think that, maybe, possibly, could be, that his indigestion wasn't necessarily indigestion, and it just so happened to be that he developed... feelings... for Amie-chan...

...

... And then he snorted at the mere idea and went back to sleep, hoping that he wouldn't wake up with indigestion because she was in his dreams again...
