A/N: Well guys, as always I want to continuously thank you for the amazing support. And at this point I think it'a fair to say I have no idea if or when another chapter will appear, but occasionally I'll get a nice comment or pm and the free time to write and I can't say no :) time has really been an issue with writing, but life's been good to me, so I can't complain. Anyways, here we are:

CH 24: more random dialogue happens...

Dakoda sighed as she and the other two girls stepped out of the taxi. She took a deep breath and tilted her face toward the sun.

"What a beautiful day to ditch." She grinned at the other two girls.

"I can't believe it, but I'm definitely going to have to agree with you." Zoey giggled.

Logan closed the door behind him, leaning against it lightly. What else could he do but stare the boy still sleeping in his bed? A few minutes passed before a phone ringing woke Logan out of his trance. He stared at the desk uncertainly. Somehow this clunky paperweight had magically become a phone twice in the past two days. What were the odds off them being unrelated? Logan took a shaky breath before answering.

"Hello?"

"Is... Is this Logan?" a woman asked timidly.

"Stephanie?" Logan asked breathlessly.

"Hi sweetie. I was trying to get ahold of Dakoda, but she wasn't answering." she sighed in frustration.

"Oh. Right, of course. No, I think she went out for a spa day." Logan replied, trying to hide his disappointment.

"Well aren't you suppose to be in school?"

"If I was suppose to be in school, why would you call me?" Logan groaned.

"Because I need to speak with Dakoda." she explained patiently. Logan took a deep breath, trying not to let her get to him. It's strange how mothers can do that.

"Well, sorry. I don't know what to tell you." he sighed.

"Well when you see her can you tell her that I can't take her until next week? Things at the shop have really picked up, and I just can't afford to leave for any lengthy period of time right now." as she explained, Logan sighed loudly. She was the most caring mother he and Dakoda had known, and she never had the time.

"Of course. I'll tell her as soon as she gets back."

"Thank you, Logan. I'll talk to you later, but I have to get back to work."

"Ok. Later Stephanie." he waited for her phone to click shut before hanging up. He took a few deep breaths before turning his chair to look at Chase. Logan's eyes connected with Chase's bleary ones.

"What was that?" he asked, sitting up.

"Nothing. I'm more interested in what you were saying before you fainted." Logan smiled at him as he crossed the room to sit at his side. Chase blushed.

"Oh. I had the speech all perfected the first time." he pouted. "it would come out all messy this time." Chase continued to stare at the floor, but Logan laughed.

"Skip to the end, then?" Logan's confidence was back in full power as Chase's eyes poured into his.

"I'm in love with-" before he could finish his sentence, Logan kissed him. After a second, Chase kissed back, and time seemed to dissolve around them. Chase's hands shook against Logan's chest, only being steadied by Logan holding his shoulders tightly. With a few smaller kisses, they broke apart.

"You." Chase finished, eyes widely searching Logan's.

Lola sat in her geometry class, tapping her pen against her desk mindlessly. Logan was pretty freaked out last night... 'Im not sure I've ever seen someone so freaked.' she thought to herself. She jumped as the bell rang throughout the school. God, finally lunch. She snatched up her bag and dashed out the door. She slowed as she looked at the empty table in front of her. Well, maybe she was just here first today. She waited another minute before Michael showed up.

"Hey Lola. You alright?" he asked as he set his back pack next to hers.

"I'm sure it's nothing." she frowned.

"Where is everyone? Aren't we usually the last ones here?" Michael frowned.

"I'm sure it's nothing." she repeated, stuck in her daze.

"I mean, Chase and Logan, everyone on campus can guess where they are." he spat.

"Yeah... I mean what?" she said, snapping back.

"Chase and Logan? The broke back mountain version?" Michael scoffed.

"Why... Why are you suddenly so venomous towards them?" she asked once his words sank in.

"Are you kidding? I've stood up for the two of them since we little rubber-kneed four year olds! In grade school everyone thought they were gay, and I stood up for them! Finally PCA became open to girls, and everyone got to know how freaking ridiculous it would be for Logan and Chase to be gay. But now? Now they go around like it's nothing to be ashamed of, like none of it matters!" Michael was yelling at this point, and it had drawn a bit of an audience.

"So what, you're mad that you didn't see this coming?" Lola asked, a bit surprised at herself for pushing him.

"I'm mad because they're perverse and this whole time they've convinced me they were normal." he nearly growled. "And what's worse? What's worse is that I've been living with them! I've been closer than anybody else and I couldn't see how sick they are."

"They're not sick-!"

"Oh they definitely are. You know when I walked into my room this morning they were sleeping all cuddled up? That's disgusting. I ran straight to the office for room reassignment." he shuddered a bit before snatching up his back pack and walking out.

A/N:: Michael... You're a dick. Anyways, I know it was only a little bit, but still, I hoped you enjoyed it!
