A/N: For all the stuff Naruto grew up with, it was hardly touched upon again in present terms after the second chapter/episode. I mean, the crowd of ninja hunting him over the sacred scroll wanted to kill him and then everything is fine once he becomes a ninja and all negativity is usually a deserved consequence. So if not gone entirely, it's no longer the focus of the story, but I thought Tsunade would have a few things to say concerning it. So this takes place after Naruto brings Tsunade back.
"And that's the biggest grocery store in Konoha," Naruto pointed, as he continued with his babble, pulling Tsunade through the streets. "And there's the nicest Laundromat . . . they let me wash and dry my clothes there . . . and this is the weapons store that Ten Ten's father owns. They've got the best quality weapons; you should just see the stuff Ten Ten carries. Amazing, and she's a master-er-mistress in ALL of them!"
"That's pretty amazing, isn't it," Tsunade agreed with a smile. Naruto had insisted on showing her way around since the village had changed in the fifteen years that she had been away. Her brow furrowed for a moment. "You lost a few kunai during your trip . . . we should get them replaced. Come on."
"No, Tsunade-baa-chan," Naruto protested. "I'll do it later . . . we still have the restaurant district. I want to show you Ichiriku's!"
"Come on, baka. We're already here." Tsunade pulled him into the store and headed for the proprietor. "Good morning. We're looking for some kunai."
The man didn't even seem to notice her as he focused on Naruto. "You little brat! I told you to stay out of my shop and stop bothering the customers! Go on! Get out!" He turned and bowed to Tsunade. "I'm so sorry, Hokage-sama. I'll dispose of him immediately."
Tsunade tucked Naruto firmly to her side. "Naruto-kun is with me this morning. He needs new kunai. Do you treat all customers like this?" she asked coldly.
The man's face turned cold. "I retain the right to deny service to anyone . . . and I will not serve that demon-brat."
"You just broke the Third's decree," Tsunade hissed. "Do you know the consequences of such traitorous behavior?"
"Tsunade-sama," Naruto tugged on her arm. "Let's just go. I'll get my kunai later."
Against her better judgement, Tsunade allowed him to drag her out of the store, sending a glare and spike of killing intent back to the proprietor before leaving. Once a safe distance away, Naruto collapsed against the wall. "Whew!"
Tsunade tapped her toe lightly. "Naruto, I thought you said that you got your weapons from that shop . . ."
"I do," Naruto sighed. "I just have to wait until it's only Ten Ten up front." He shook it off the way he shook off everything else and grabbed her hand. "Come on, Baa-chan! Let's go to Ichiriku's!"
Tsunade allowed him to pull her along, but she turned to look back at the weapons shop with a fierce expression.
"Things are going to change."
The End.
