I felt it.
A tiny, itty bitty cute one shot.

(How Purin and Tart should have said their goodbyes. ;D)

"Tart."

The soft voice reached his ears so suddenly; he didn't look up at first, as if his mind didn't want to register the familiar voice. But, he found his eyes flickering over, and his head turning to face the small girl in front of him, on a tree branch, her hand clutching the side to balance herself, her beautiful gaze locked onto his golden one.

Only then did he notice the big, messy tears in her eyes, falling down her delicate face fast, dripping off her chin and falling to the ground where he stood. He looked down at the tears falling, reminding him of rain drops, before tilting his head back to look up at her again blankly.

"Purin."

This seemed to trigger something, for she suddenly jarred, and leapt from the tree with amazing speed and agility, and landed on him with a soft 'thump', and wrapped her small arms around his neck, her nose touching his as she pulled her face into his, her tears still falling. He felt the cold wet tears plop onto his heated skin, a horrid blush on his face from how close she was to him, and how her body was pressed against his, and how sad and torn she looked.

Then she tipped her face down and forward, and pressed her lips to his.

All he could so was blush, and sit there, letting her lips warm his trembling ones. He licked the inside of his mouth, accidentally brushing hers, when he tasted her salty tears mingling with her surprise kiss. At this, she gasped and pulled away. He felt his face go redder, and he managed to squeak out a, "Wh-Wh-What was that!?"

She watched him with eager eyes, and asked simply, "Did you feel it?"

He blinked. Feel what? Her warm lips against his, the feel of her heartbeat increasing and thumping against his own pounding heart? Or was it the way his whole body seemed to feel so right, or the way he felt like he was floating, and nothing could ever pull him down?

"Yes?" He whispered. She watched him gently, then smiled that Purin smile of hers, so energetic and cute; the smile that stole this little alien's heart.

"I did too." She said, not budging from he tight hug on him, or the fact they were both on the ground, her lying on top of him.

"Come back, alright?" She said, standing up and helping the surprised alien to his feet, her grin never faltering or leaving her face. "So we can kiss again! You need lessons!"

He went red with both embarrassment and anger, and felt his muscles tighten and his anger boil. He flailed his arms around ad began yelling angrily.

"WHAT!? YOU KISS ME LIKE THAT AND EXPECT ME TO NOT BE SURPRISED!? THEN SAY I NEED LESSONS! YOU STUPID FLUFF BALL! DUMB MONKEY!"

She grinned, winked and blew him a kiss, and then bounced off, all her sadness forgotten.

Because she knew he would be back.
