Batman crouched on the gargoyle on top of Wayne Enterprises looking through his night-vision goggles at the quiet streets below. Frowning. It's all so fake, the quiet down there. I know that within a minute someone will come and shatter the peace. "But I won't give up on this city for anything."

"Well, that's good. Because they need you. Hello, Batman." Nightwing stepped up to Batman and crouched next to his father.

"Hello, Nightwing."

"You're here early."

Nightwing ruffled his hand through his hair and looked at Batman. "Well, Charlie Stewart sang a song that reminded Barbara and me of our duty to Gotham and to you, so we left early. She's setting up as we speak and I came out here to meet up with you."

"Oh, what was the song?" Batman looked at Nightwing, wondering what could draw his son away from his time with Barbara.
Nightwing moved a few feet away from Batman,and turned on the comm on his gauntlet.

"Oracle? Are you there?"

Right here, Nightwing."

Do you have it set up yet?"

"All set, hunk-wonder."

Nightwing grinned.Okay I'll have him join us." He moved closer to Batman. "

Click into Channel Two and Oracle and I will show you what brought us out of the party." Batman clicked his com to Channel Two and heard Charlie Stewart singing

"Not While I'm Around" from Sweeney Todd.

Nothing's gonna harm you/ Not while I'm around

Demons are prowling everywhere nowadays

After the first part of the song Oracle clicked off the C-D and all she heard was silence. "Nightwing?"

Batman smiled at Nightwing and softly said "Thanks for the reminder" then he shot out his Grappling hook and sailed into the night.

Nightwing watched him leave and smiled and said to Oracle, "Mission accomplished. I'll see you later." And then Oracle smiled.
