Kailor: I'm back baby! And you all know you missed me!
Naruto: Kai! My Ramen King! The pantry has been so empty without you!
Nuriko: Oh thank god. A smart person! Lunar left a while ago.
Naruto: I'm smart!
Nuriko: What's four times seven?
Naruto: Pssh! Like that's a hard one! It's so easy. I mean even a baby could figure that one out.
Nuriko: Thought so. You don't know.
Kailor: Back to writing!
Setsuna frowned at the clothes in the back of their closet. Where had she put those boxers? She pushed farther in only to wince as her foot connected with something. Glancing down, she saw a globe. She grabbed the stand and lifted it, spinning it. It was old and oddly familiar.
"Found them! Secchan?" Konoka danced in, waving the Scooby-doo boxers merrily. She smiled softly when she saw the globe.
"Why do you have an old globe in here, Kono-chan?" Setsuna asked.
"…You don't remember?"
"Remember what?"
Konoka giggled. "You tell me when you remember. Until then…" She dragged the swordsman to their bed and straddled her. "Think hard, Secchan…" Konoka kissed her.
Hours later Setsuna rolled over and saw the outline of the globe she had left on the bedside table and sighed. What couldn't she remember? Her eyes trailed to the small healer next to her.
The moonlight fell across her face, turning it an ethereal silver and Setsuna smiled, running a finger over the other girl's chin. Suddenly, she remembered.
Flashback…
Eight year old Setsuna was sitting in her history class thinking about her new friend, Kono-chan. She was so kind and pretty. Setsuna just felt she needed to get her something or do something for her. To show how much she cared. Her eyes landed on the teacher's desk. Yes!
Konoka looked up as Setsuna panted to a stop in front of her, clutching a big bag. "What's that Secchan? A present?"
"Yes, Kono-chan." Setsuna pulled the globe from its bag. A heavy blush darkened her cheeks as she held it out to Konoka. "I-I can't give you the world, so I-I stole this globe from my history class."
The tiny swordsman closed her eyes as Konoka stared at her. Suddenly she felt small warm lips on her cheek. "Thank you Secchan. I love it." Konoka took the globe and spun it as she smiled at her best friend.
End flashback…
Setsuna blinked, realizing she had gone into a sort of trance as she recalled those days of old. "Hee hee. You remember now?"
She looked down at the healer. "Kono-chan? You're awake?"
"I woke up and you were leaning over me, staring at that globe. I figured you were remembering."
Setsuna smiled, half-blushing. "Yeah, I remember."
Konoka pulled the swordsman's lips to her own. "I knew you would. You were so sweet and cute."
"Were? I'm not anymore?"
"No, now you're kind and gosh darn HOT!"
"Why, thank you. You aren't so bad yourself."
"Aren't so bad!? Homie, say what?"
"Haha." The two got into a play scuffle which ended with both of them panting and a few articles of clothing missing. Setsuna gazed down into Konoka's eyes, a smile lighting up her face, her eyes misty.
"What are you looking at Secchan?"
"The love of my life. I may not have been able to give you the world when I was eight, but I'll sure as hell try now." Konoka let a tear slide down her face.
"I love you so much, Secchan."
"I love you too, Kono-chan."
As their lips met a breeze fluttered through the window, cooling their skin, and making the globe on the bedside table turn slowly.
Kailor: Inspired by my good friend, Megan!
Eva: Excuse me? Another girl?
Motoko: What do you mean ANOTHER girl, blood-sucker?
Kailor: Ladies, please!
Naruto: Uh-oh.
Nuriko: Run!
BOOM!!!!
