Aang was just wondering; why did he enjoy being so close to Katara? "It's like everytime I'm near her I just can't help myself but blush and..this..warm feeling inside me, going through my body, it's just happens whenever she's around. But why?" he said in his thoughts.
He was sitting on a trunk by a fire at night. looking straight through the fire flames.
Katara, coming out from a tent saw Aang, just sitting there. She stared at his face, it was a serious, a calm face. She then walked towards him. "Hey..." hearing that, Aang turned around just to see her and respond softly "Hey..." Katara noticed an uneasy voice. "Got anything on your mind?" she asked while sitting next to him. Aang raised his sight away from the fire, looking just ahead. His pale cheeks turned nto a slight red when hearing that. "Umm...I was just wondering..." Katara raised an eyebrow and asking "Wondering what?". Aang didn't know how to put the words to explain what was going through his mind. He sighed and said "Well, I really don't know how to put this..." Katara, looking at him, put a hand on his hand and said "Aang, you can tell me anything, just so you know." A smile came to her face then. Again, his cheeks went red, he stared directly at their hands touching."Oh, come on Aang, you don't even know yourself what's happening. Look! She's here, she makes you feel different"!
Katara noticed that Aang was a bit uncomfortable. "You don't have to say it if you don't want to." Katara said. "No, no! It's just that well, it's about well...you..." she wondered herself. "Why should he be thinking about me?" She then asked him "Is.. something wrong about me? Aang responded quickly "What? No, of course there's nothing wrong about you!" looking into her eyes just for a second then he looked away and blushed. Katara tilted her head so she could see Aang's face. "So, what is this aboutme?" He then rolled his eyes to see her staring at him. "Ok, well, kinda hard to say this, so, I guess I'll have to do something about it" he said. Katara awaited for his words but instead she just felt a pair of lips on her left cheek. Suddenly, the boy was gone. He just left a pair of red cheeks, a warm feeling and a wondering girl. On a tent, the boy was staring at the girl. "A crush? I don't think so."
