Emptiness

Sebastian looked down at the brunette beside him, closing his eyes he could also imagine she was Kathryn, and then she spoke shattering his illusion. This girl simpering voice was nothing like Kathryn's seductive one. God Kathryn, how he wanted her.

He looked down at the brunette again, he couldn't remember her name it wasn't like that mattered anyway he wouldn't see her again. He only chose her because at a distance she could resemble Kathryn, he always chose the ones that resembled Kathryn.

It didn't help though no matter how many Kathryn clones he slept with, they were never her and the emptiness in his heart never went away.

The girls were never Kathryn, they didn't have her piercing green eyes or her laugh. They were nice and naïve where as she was fiery and passionate, like him. One kiss from Kathryn was better than sex with these girls but he did them anyway because while she didn't always kiss him they would always sleep with him.

The brunette was trying to get his attention, stretching herself out on the bed and smiling in a way she must think was alluring, but just made him sick. He climbed out of this girl bed as she tried to wrap her arms around him, "come on baby, where you going" she pouted at him. She was still clinging and trying to coax him back to bed as he got dressed and walked out the door without once saying a word, without once turning back.

When he got home he smiled his first real smile of the day, not those fake ones he gave everyone else. Kathryn was reclining in a chair reading a book, but when he came in she looked up he saw her smile as well, her real one. He liked to think of himself the only person in the world she gave that smile too, he was defiantly the only one that could tell the two apart.

Walking over to her, he brushed he collar bone "hello sis darling what have you been up to". She threw the book down "I have to read this stupid book for English then write a term paper on it" then she pressed herself against his hand "and I have so many more interesting things I'd rather do". "I'll find someone to do to it for you sis" Kathryn smirked and turned round giving him a kiss on the cheek "what would I do without you" "a lot of term papers probably" he said smiling.

"Anyway what was that you said about more interesting things do" he asked and pulled her up off the chair. She tossed back her hair and followed him to the bedroom.

They were both lying on the bed, her head was in his lap and he stroked her hair "so tell me about your latest conquest Sebastian" she asked and so he began to tell her.

Hours later she was asleep her head still in his lap, not today and maybe not tomorrow but one day the emptiness in his heart would be gone because he knew she was the only one who could fill it, like his was the only one who could fill hers, and with that thought in his head he drifted off to sleep.
