Disclaimer: I actually do own CSI: Miami, but only in a highly philosophical sense. It is in no way a literal, monetary, or legally binding kind of ownership.

Needles in Haystacks

A needle in a haystack is the paradigm example of something extremely hard to find. That's basically the job description of a CSI. So, how would the CSI: Miami team find a needle in a haystack?

Calleigh: Shoot the haystack, listen for the ping of a bullet hitting the needle.

Eric: Throw entire haystack into large body of water, wait for the hay to float away, go diving for the needle.

Natalia: Call in the FBI, tell them the needle might have some incriminating evidence against the lab.

Ryan: Leak to the media that there's a needle in the haystack, vaguely imply that it might be gold, step aside while the citizens of Miami converge on the haystack and tear it apart.

Alexx: Dissect the haystack with surgical precision, all the while murmuring to it comfortingly.

Horatio: Blow up the haystack.

These are just some of many possible solutions. I bet you can come up with some better ones. Please feel free to include them in a review.
