To My Men

Don't think I don't see you-

Remember, I see all.

Don't think I won't remember

Every falter and every flaw.

I'm God to you, remember,

Don't forget that you are mine.

As my men, I expect perfection-

If you can't achieve that, don't waste my time.

Remember, I'm above you,

I'm what you strive to be.

When you fall asleep after a hard day's work

You'll be dreaming of serving me.

But don't think I really need you-

You're only here on my whim.

If you want affection, find some monarch

Who wants obedient dogs surrounding him.

I deal with you because I have to-

I give you training, food and a home.

But if you try to leave I'll kill you-

Don't you ever leave me alone.
