Chapter 13

Ginny slowly opened the door she didn't know what was waiting for her but she was certain it wasn't good. Sarah swung around when she heard the door open. "Who the hell are you?" Sarah spat out as she leveled her wand on Ginny. Ginny was confused for a second before she remembered she didn't look like herself. Ginny's mind whirled with things to do her mind came up blank so she said the first thing she thought of. "Let's play a game if you can figure out who I am you can keep me and let the girl go, and if you can't figure out who I am I get the girl and we leave this place."Ginny circled Sarah with her wand at the ready and her mind racing. She had bought herself some time to assess the situation better. She was under no illusions about Sarah. She knew that Sarah would never let either of them go willingly. "How the hell did you get past my defenses?" Sarah cast a stunning spell but Ginny was ready. She easily put up a protective shield. "Don't worry your mind with all those minor details," Ginny taunted, "it might make your inferior little brain explode." Ginny wasn't sure why she said it but she was burning with anger. She had caught glimpses of Beathany as she circled around Sarah. She was suppressing the shock she felt at the sight of Beathany's limp body and the sounds of her faint crying. She looked broken beyond hope of return. Ginny had to let all of that go right then and focus on her anger and the situation at hand. "Who do you think you are? Coming in my house and insulting me. You don't know what I am capable of you bastard." Sarah sent another spell in Ginny's direction. With a flick of her wrist Ginny deflected it. "I was simply stating a fact. Now are you going to try to figure out who I am or are you going to just keep throwing weak spells my way?" Sarah cried out crucio a second to late as Ginny had already disarmed her. "Is that the best you got and here I thought I would actually have a challenge fighting you. I guess that shows that sometimes even I can be wrong." Ginny was unsure where all this false bravado was coming from because she sure didn't know what it would accomplish. Then Sarah did something completely unexpected, obviously she had quite enough insults thrown her way. Ginny took note of the fury and insanity in the girl's eyes right before Sarah charged her like a maniac. She knocked Ginny to the ground and started clawing at Ginny. It took Ginny a second to register what was happening before finally letting the years of wrestling with her brothers experience kick in. Ginny flipped Sarah in the blink of an eye and promptly smashed her as hard as she could in the face. The last thing Sarah saw before she was knocked out was the triumphant look on a now familiar looking face. As soon as Sarah was unconscious Ginny dismounted her and secured her magically with ropes. Ginny ran to Beathany's side, her friend was no longer crying she was unconscious. All of the anger left Ginny, her legs gave out on her as she collapsed next to her friend. Ginny rolled Beathany into her lap, holding onto her all the while praying she was going to be ok. All of a sudden the situation was to much for her, her hands started to shake and spread through the rest of her body. Ginny let all the anguish and worry she had been holding inside of her out. Her sobs filled the room. Her pain was to great to contain.

Remus trudged up the hill alongside Dumbledore. It wasn't hard to surpass Sarah's defenses once they had been identified. It was proof of how her mind worked and of how insignificant her mental capabilities were for her to think that a measly lust spell could keep out Albus Dumbldore. They had just reached the open castle doors when they heard a sound that chilled Remus to the bones. His first instinct was to rush in and rescue whoever was suffering that horribly. "To rush in would foolish my dear boy." Dumbledore always a wise and unwavering man. "What should we do?" "We will enter this castle together and find out, as a team, what is happening. We are stronger this way and less likely to be taken unaware." The entered the first level and quickly spread out in pairs to secure the house. Remus and Dumbledor headed towards the sobs the echoed throughout the castle. Remus was shocked at the sight in front of him. The first thing he registered was the still body of Sarah lying on the floor bound in ropes, a bruise already forming on her face around her broken nose. The next and most heart-stopping thing he noticed was Ginny sitting on the floor, blood running down her face from what looked to be claws, with Beathany in her lap. It took everything in him not to run to the woman he loved. Dread filled his body. Was Beathany dead? Was this the cause for the uncontrollable cries coming from Ginny? Dumbledore walked slowly up behind Ginny as she sat cradling Beathany. "Ginny, you are safe now." At the sound of the headmasters voice Ginny's sobs stopped. Her head slowly raised up. Remus could see the relief wash across her face as well as a bit of apprehension. "Professor you made it. I am sorry for disobeying and acting reckless. I just felt I needed to do this." "It is alright child your actions today has saved your friend. Now let's get all of you back to Hogwarts.

A week had passed since Beathany was rescued. When they returned to Hogwarts they were sent straight to the hospital wing. Beathany was carried by Dumbledore himself. Ginny was exhausted but at peace. Beathany was ok and Sarah would face the consequences of her actions. There would be a trial but Ginny didn't want to think about it. Ginny had something more important to worry about...Remus Lupin. She still hadn't been able to have a moment alone with him. She was surrounded by someone every second of the day. Crystal being her main companion. It seemed she was so shaken from the whole incident herself that she didn't want to be left alone. The only time she had for herself was when she was sleeping. Ginny felt excited and a bit nervous as she walked towards Defense Against the Dark Arts. She tried to calm herself by thinking she wouldn't actually be alone with him, but the butterflies in her stomach weren't listening. Just being able to see him was enough to elicit all kinds of tingling emotions. Ginny took a second before walking into the classroom to compose herself. She wasn't prepared for the strong wave of love she felt as her eyes met his. She almost forgot that they weren't the only ones in the room. Remus gave her a warm smile and a small nod reminding her that yes indeed they had an audience and she needed to keep that in mind. As she found her seat, Ginny's mind wandered back in time to a moment her and Remus had shared. It was moment when she first realized just how much she loved him. It had been a cold night, so her and Remus were cuddled together on some blankets by the fire in his living quarters. Remus was looking down into her eyes and Ginny looked inquisitively up at him. "Darling?" Ginny said slowly, letting her fingers trail lightly on his side as she spoke. "Yes my wonderful angel?" Remus replied. "If you could have anything in the world, physically not abstract, what would it be?" Remus seemed to ponder this question for a moment. "Why? Will you get it for me?" His smile let her know how lightly he took the question. Ginny rolled over so now she was the one staring down at him. " I want a serious answer sir."She pinched his arm slightly, " That way if I ever want to get you something special, I will now kind of what to get." Remus tucked a strand of her fiery red hair behind her ear. Ginny noticed he looked uncertain for a second before a grin finally broke out over his face. " I shall tell you, but you have to promise not to laugh." Ginny adopted the most solemn face she could think of and promised not to. Her smile was quick to return as Remus began speaking. "If I could own any possession in the world that I don't already have, I would want a flying carpet." Ginny didn't laugh, she was slightly disappointed because she thought he was joking. Remus took note of the look in her eyes. "I am serious as can be Ginny." She rolled over to her side pondering why he would want a flying carpet. "May I inquire as to why you would like a flying carpet the most in the world?" Her voice must have given away how important this was to her because he turned over on his side to look her in the eyes and leaned forward and kissed her forehead. Ginny closed her eyes and soaked in the sensation and the comfort that surrounded her. When Remus began speaking Ginny had to strain to hear him because he was speaking so low. "When I was young, before I was bitten, I had a close friend. We would spend every waking hour together. Her father had an old flying carpet, we would sneak out at nights and take rides on the flying carpet. We saw a whole new world together, it was beautiful. The night I was bitten I snuck out of the house to meet her in the field, as I walked up I knew something was wrong. I crept up slowly and saw something nobody should have to witness, my best friend laying on the ground being devoured by a werewolf. It's all a blur after that point. I was running and running. He caught me. I remember pain, searing pain. I thought I was dead, before I blacked out I heard shouting and loud noises. I woke up the next morning with my furry little problem." Ginny couldn't stop the tears that welled up in her eyes slipping down her face. She could just imagine the innocent sweet child he was and the terror he must have felt. "My memories of flying on that carpet are bitter sweet, but I want to have that experience again." Ginny hugged him close to her, her mind reeling with her thoughts and emotions. Her love for him washed over her. She stopped breathing for a second as the revelation of her love for him. "Thank you for sharing." She whispered in his ear.

Ginny was snapped back to the present when she heard Remus say her name. She glanced up his way knowing he wanted her to answer a question, but knowing she didn't have the answer because she wasn't paying attention. "I'm sorry Professor Lupin, can you please repeat the question?" Ginny sent him a hopeful smile with a repentant look in her eye. "Ms. Weasley, I have repeated the question several times already. Where ever your mind has been has just landed you a night of detention ma'am." If Ginny hadn't been looking she would have missed the twinkle in his eye. She fought hard to suppress the smile that was threatening to break out across her face. She managed to keep it together long enough to give an apology and look down. As soon as her face was hidden from sight she let the grin come. Here was her chance to speak with Remus alone. Her excitement grew and it was even harder for her to pay attention, however she did her best. When class was over, Ginny slowly packed up her items, she saw some sympathetic glances cast her way. " , I expect to see you hear right after dinner tonight. Don't be late." Ginny glanced around the classroom, checking to make sure they were alone. She hurried forward and gave Remus a quick hug and a kiss. Using all of her will power not to linger, she whispered in his ear "I look forward to it." She walked quickly to the exit, glancing behind her as she left. His next class was already queuing up outside his door. Ginny bent her head down and looked at the floor. The last thing she needed was for students to see the satisfied look in her eyes as she left Remus's classroom. She hurried off to the hospital wing to visit Beathany.

Beathany was looking like her old self again. Madame Pompfrey had taken really good care of her. Turned out Beathany had a lot more admirers than thought. Her bedside was full of gifts and get well soon cards. People might not know the whole story, but their support for her was overwhelmingly wonderful that it warmer Ginny's heart the more she thought about it. Ginny approached the bed slowly and quietly. She didn't want to disturb her if she was sleeping. She was reading a book and smiled at Ginny as she came closer to the bed. She might have looked better, but Ginny could tell she was still haunted by the terrors she went through. The dark circles under her eyes were proof that she still wasn't sleeping well. Her eyes showed a soul that held less innocence and more weariness than should be. Ginny's heart broke for her friend. "Hey honey, got a good book?" Beathany smiled because she was reading one of the books Ginny had given her to pass the time. " Eh, I've read better." It did Ginny good to see she still had a sense of humor. Ginny gave Beathany a hug. "When are you getting out of here? I know you must be bored." Ginny sat down in the chair next to the bed. Beathany laughed as she leaned forward in her bed. " I'm hoping to get out tomorrow. Madam Pompfrey says I'm still under observation for another day. I'm still trying to overcome the whole episode." Ginny leaned forward and took her friend's hand, it was hard to miss the look of pain in Bethany's eyes. "I'm here for you always. When you need me just let me know." Beathany closed her eyes and a tear slipped down her cheek. Ginny got out of the chair and went to sit on the bed. She engulfed her friend in a big hug, letting her know with actions rather than words that she would be her comforter. The tears came harder and the sobs began to shake Beathany's body. Ginny just sat there with her arms around her, being her rock. They sat there like that for a few minutes until Ginny felt her sobs subside. Ginny pulled away from Beathany, wiped her tears from her eyes. "It is going to be hard and I know it's going to hurt but we are going to get through this together. You are strong and this will only make you stronger. I believe in you Beathany. You have a beautiful heart and nothing can change that." Beathany gave a watery smile. She seemed to take strength and comfort from Ginny's words. The rest of the visit was spent talking and gossiping. Crystal walked up a little while later. She joined in the conversation and the hours flew by. Ginny looked up at the clock and was shocked to see that she was 5 minutes late for her detention. She jumped off the bed, gave Beathany and Crystal a hug, exclaimed she was late, and hurried out of the hospital wing.

Remus was slightly worried when Ginny did not show up on time. He had assumed from her parting gift to him that she was eager to see him. He could feel the worry grow as the minutes slipped by. Finally! A knock on his door sent him flying to open it. Just as he reached the door he slowed down and composed himself. No reason to make a fool of himself. It didn't help the only thing on his mind for the past week was Ginny. He wasn't even sure how he'd managed to function and seem normal. Hr didn't seek her out, he wanted her to come to him. After all it had been her who had stormed out on him. He had felt hope renewed the night they had rescued Beathany, but then he hadn't had any opportunity to see her. When she walked into his classroom earlier his whole heart filled with his love for her. Had it not been for the classroom full of students he would have picked her up in his arms and planted a kiss firmly on her luscious lips. Remus opened the door with a stern look on his face, but couldn't hold it long. Ginny had the most contrite look on her face he couldn't help but laugh and open the door wider to let her in. When Remus closed the door he turned around not sure what Ginny would want. What he didn't expect was Ginny to launch herself at him and take him into a big hug. She wrapped her legs around his waist and whispered in his ear. "I've missed you so much Remus." If he wanted to he couldn't have stopped his body from reacting. As much as he wanted to sit down and have a conversation with her, something far more demanding was needed first and it was letting its presence known. " I can tell you missed me too, or should I say I feel you missed me too." Ginny smirked at him as she slid off of him. Remus couldn't think straight enough to respond so he did the only thing he could think to do which was to kiss her. Something he'd been thinking about constantly since that afternoon. He let his hands travel down her back. He could feel her shiver at his touch. "You like that?" He growled in her ear. "Yes." Was Ginny's breathy reply. Remus scooped Ginny up and carried her across the room to his desk. In a swipe of his hand he cleared his desk. All he wanted right now was this fiery woman naked and writhing under him. He set her on the desk and continued kissing her. Ginny leaned into his kiss begging for more. His lips finally left hers but they didn't stray from her body. His kissed a trail down her neck. Ginny's moans of pleasure filled his ears, spurring him on. He nipped at her neck with his teeth. His knees almost buckled with want as Ginny's body lifted from the desk rubbing against his. "Baby I'm not going to last much longer. I need you." Ginny's only response was to pull her robe over her head and begin to undress for him. Remus let himself pause for a moment to enjoy the sight of her beauty. His eyes feasted on her pert titties. He watched the sway as she pulled off her bra. His eyes hungrily followed her hands. He watched as she slid her thong of and let it drop to the floor. She was left sitting on his desk with her skirt and heels on. Damn she's sexy he thought. His erection was straining against his pants. She beckoned him to come to her. He stepped closer. She reached down and ran her fingers over his covered cock. " I'm waiting to see how much you missed me." Remus moaned and thrust his hips towards her hand. She unzipped his pants allowing him to spring free. He leaned her back on the desk and slid himself deep inside her. Ginny's moans filled the room as he plunged deeper and deeper into her. She ran her fingers through his hair and sent her nails running down his back. He was in heaven and didn't want it to end. He could feel her getting closer and closer to the edge he wanted them to cum together. He pushed in deeper and faster, caressing her titties. His thoughts shattered as he sent them both into oblivious bliss. He kissed her as she came to silence her screams. Ginny's breaths were coming in short spurts as she clung to him. He softly ran his fingers through her hair. He kissed her gently. "Let's get you dressed so we can head to my chambers. Do you know how to disillusion yourself? " Ginny got up on shaky legs. " Not yet." He tapped her with his wand and Remus watched as she slowly blended with her surroundings. " We could have left you naked. Have you walk the corridors with half your clothes off and only me knowing." She pushed him lightly," That could be arranged." Remus moaned again, just imagining it made him hard again. We need to get you to my chambers and quick." Ginny leaned up and kissed him. " Lead the way."

Ginny and Remus lay in his bed hours later sated and tired. They had an incredible night of love making. "Ginny look at me." Ginny rolled over and looked Remus in the eyes. " I love Ginny Weasley. I want to spend my life with you forever and always." Ginny felt the tears well up in her eyes. " I love you too Remus. I am yours." Ginny and Remus spent a few more hours together, until it was time for her to leave. They talked about their future and reminisced about the past. It was close to 3 in the morning when Remus escorted her back to her dorm. She kissed him one more time before climbing into the portrait hole and heading to bed. Ginny closed her eyes and went to sleep with a smile on her face. In the morning she was going to order a flying carpet.

Alright guys this is the end unless an epilogue is wanted. I might just write one anyway. Very unsure. If anyone is interested let me know. I want to say thank you again for all of my wonderful reviews they have encouraged me to finish this story and hopefully open up a path to writing a new story soon.
