Lucky... Or Not?

A/N:Hehe, another one of my one-shots. This time, SengoSaku XD. Hope you like it!

He, Kiyosumi Sengoku, was known to be lucky.

Heck, people even called him "Leprechaun" because it suited him. Especially with his orange hair and green attire, except he was much taller than the normal mystical leprechauns.

Whether from tennis to his love life, he had it all. He was blessed with tennis skills, and attracting women was a given, although he'd rather chase them, being the closet pervert he was.

Albeit with all his luck, it never seemed to work when it came to her.

Ryuzaki Sakuno.

The most gorgeous girl he had ever laid his eyes on.

And he stared at a lot of girls, far more than he could remember.

Sakuno, that name stuck in his head. What a pretty name from a hot girl like herself.

He had asked her out many times before, but her answer was always the same.

"No."

At first, he was shocked. I mean, who would deny him? Of all people? But as he continued to pester her, he had gotten used to the routine. But that didn't stop him, and he hoped for the next time, and the next time, and so on.

But today was different. Today, he was going to find out why she said no, either she wanted to answer or not.

Sengoku waited at the front gate of Seishun Gakuen, awaiting for Sakuno's arrival.

Minutes later, he had seen her come from tennis practice and called her over.

"Sengoku-san?" Sakuno questioned, looking up at him.

"Hi Sakuno-chan!" he greeted happily, putting his arm around her shoulder, causing her to blush.

"What're you doing here?" Sakuno pulled his arm off her shoulders, making Sengoku frown slightly.

"I need to ask you a question."

"Oh?" Sakuno took a step back, puzzled.

"..."

"Why don't you want to date me?" seriousness was evident in Sengoku's tone. Sakuno widened her eyes and looked around, refusing to meet eye contact with him.

"So?"

"Um.. I don't think I'm obliged to a-answer t-that Sengoku-san..." Sakuno said weakly.

"Sakuno, please! Just.. I just want to know why. And when you give me your answer, I'll leave you alone," Sengoku sighed, slightly irritated that Sakuno could be.. so infuriating sometimes.

"Sengoku-san! It's n-not that I don't want to..."

"Hm?" Sengoku quirked a brow, his full attention on Sakuno.

"It's.. it's just that... I'm not ready to date.. yet.." Sakuno blushed, eyes still glued onto the ground.

"But I really want to.. date you.." Sengoku suddenly smiled at her confession. So she did like him! And even though he couldn't date her now, there was still time wasn't there?

Happy at her answer, Sengoku stepped forward and leaned down to her.

Kissing her on the cheek.

Pulling back, Sakuno blushed as she watched him walk away, a faint smile grazing her lips.

And two years later, he asked her on a date, and she finally said yes.

Oh how very lucky he was.

END

A/N:Er.. Like it? Love it? Hate it? This one-shot seemed a bit boring to me, but I hope you like it. Oh, and quick question:

Should I just make a fic with one-shots envolving SakuxMulti pairings? 'Cause then you could tell me a pairing and I could try to write it.. to whatever idea pops into my head. Or is there already a lot of those fics already?
