Tuesday, October 17th, 1876.

Greetings, respected and esteemed Haruka Tenoh:

You are cordially invited to our wedding. The ceremony will be celebrated at the local town church on December 23rd, 1876.

We will hope that you will assist with your wife, Michiru Kaioh.

Love,

Mamoru Chiba and Usagi Tsukino

"How do you feel?"

"Well, I guess I could say that I should feel awkward but other than uncomfortable, I feel fine."

"Does your leg bother you? Do you want to stand up and walk a bit?"

"No, Michiru. I am fine. Don't worry so much."

"Alright…" She sighed and rubbed Haruka's forearm. "If you want to leave we can leave."

Haruka turned her green eyes to Michiru before shaking her head. "The bride will be here any second. I promised him that I would be here."

"I just thought you might feel weird for the fact that no one is sitting at our bench, except us."

"I don't care, Michiru. You are sitting here. That's enough for me. I guess the people in town don't want to catch whatever we have."

Michiru covered her mouth and laughed. "Oh, Haruka."

"It's true…" She turned her neck to look behind her. Right in that moment, the old ladies behind her covered their faces with their fans and the men turned to look somewhere else. She held her hat in her hands as she saw the new priest walk in. He was young, unexperienced and nervous.

After the "incident" Haruka was in bed for over two months, recuperating not only her body but her mind. She didn't wanted things to end the way they had. As she got better, she slowly began to regain her confident not only in walking but fighting. She no longer used her chest binds but her clothes stayed the same.

She had taken various trips to town with Michiru, in each one she could feel the burning gaze of the people penetrating her body as if trying to figure out if what they had heard was true.

Haruka Tenoh was a woman who married another woman.

Michiru Kaioh knew this and still stayed…

Michiru's mother didn't care. She always welcomed her daughter and daughter-in-law visit with open arms and they would occasionally stay to talk. There was moment where Haruka stayed over just so she could fix the town mansion, which came back to its original and beautiful splendor.

People were amazed but Haruka was even more amazed that she was able to go back in and simply renew the home…

She remember when she stood in front of it, limping due to the incurable injury to her leg. She smiled brightly and her parent's home and wondered if they were proud of what she had done…

Kazuo's home was also redone completely and without second guessing she handed the home to the now soon to be wedded couple. They needed a place to stay, she didn't like the home, so she thought it would be better to give it away than to tear it down…

Haruka sighed as she played with the seam of her hat as her eyes studied the new priest. The town people were not sure themselves why there was a new priest in town. What ever happened to Father Neil? She had heard the whispering queries here and there. They wondered about Neil, about Kazuo.

One old lady mentioned that Kazuo had been killed in a horrific accident regarding wolves. Some even say those same wolves ate Father Neil whole and no body was found. Father Neil simply disappeared.

Haruka chuckled as she saw Mamoru, standing in the altar. He looked so anxious yet happy that it made Haruka's heart skip a beat as she also remembered how she felt the day of her wedding.

In that moment Haruka's ear picked the whispers of the older women behind her. The bride was alone. No one was going to give her away to her husband. Her father had abandoned her when she decided to elope with the groom.

Haruka shook her head and turned to the women before snarling. "I can't believe this." She muttered, giving her hat and gloves to Michiru. "Wait here. I will be right back." She then grabbed her cane and walked out of the church, where she found Usagi.

The poor woman was on the verge of crying but the moment she saw the tall blonde, she quickly swallowed hard and stood up straight.

"Where is your father?"

"He is not here." She whispered in shame. "I- He said that he was going to be here but…" She let out a soft hiccup and prepared to just bawl.

"Hey, no. No crying unless they are happy tears. I will give you away. Come on." Haruka said, as she offered her arm. "Come, child."

Usagi sniffled one last time before grabbing Haruka's proffered arm. As the sound of the organ began, she felt the young woman shake. "It's okay. You are lucky. You get to marry someone you have met before." She chuckled as they both slowly began to walk and enter the church.

The town people had mixed emotions. Some of them were disgusted some of them were actually glad that Usagi wasn't alone.

As soon as they made it to the altar, Haruka shook Mamoru's hand and stepped aside to let the young girl stand beside her groom.

Haruka quickly walked back to her own wife, who was smiling brightly at her. She grabbed Haruka's hand and gave it a firm squeeze. "Oh the memories." Michiru said as she rested her head on Haruka's shoulder.

"Feeling nostalgic, Michiru?"

"Aren't you?"

"Of course, meeting you here was the best thing that ever happened to me."

"Even if I was completely terrified?"

"Well, I am sorry about that. I tried to be nice at first, didn't I, Michiru?"

"Yes, you did…"

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join two lives in holy matrimony."

Michiru and Haruka sat, their hands entertwined as they listened to the young priest. Haruka turned to her young wife as she started to have flashbacks of the day of their own wedding.

"Do you, Mamoru Chiba, take Usagi Tsukino to be your lawful wedded wife? Do you promise to love and cherish her for as long as you live?"

Haruka chuckled, rubbing her thumb against Michiru's hand.

"I do."

"And do you, Usagi Tsukino take Mamoru Chiba to be your lawful wedded husband? Do you promise to love and cherish him for as long as you both live?"

Michiru placed her head once again on Haruka's shoulder. She closed her eyes and felt a soft kiss on her forehead.

"I do."

"Alright then…"The priest smiled as he looked to his side at the altar boy who proceeded to give him the rings. "These rings represent love, for it is a circle. It has no beginning and no end." He gave the gorgeous diamond ring to Mamoru.

Haruka looked down at their hands. She slipped Michiru's wedding ring off her finger and smiled as she repositioned over her fingertips. She cleared her throat and waited for the words the priest was about to say.

"Mamoru, repeat after me…"

Haruka smiled at Michiru and mouthed the words the words that the priest recited along Mamoru, her eyes never parting Mcihiru's. "With this ring, I make you mine as I am yours…"

Michiru couldn't help it. Her eyes watered as she watched her slip her wedding ring back on. Without second guessing, she grabbed hold of Haruka's ring.

"Now it is your turn Usagi. Repeat after me…"

Michiru stared at Haruka's eyes while a tear of happiness escaped the corner of her eye. "With this ring, I make you mine, as I am yours…" She chuckled and slipped the golden band back on. "We belong to each other."

"Always." Haruka whispered as she squeezed her lover's hand tightly.

"And with the power vested unto me by God,"

The priest voice were muffle in their heads as they leaned in against each other before capturing their lips in a scorching kiss.

"You may kiss the bride…"
