A/N: Sooo... Here's drabble-ish thing number three! Perfect for New Year's Day. XD Hope you like it!
Disclaimer: Now if I owned these, I wouldn't be hounded about writing a fanfiction about these two, instead, my friend would be asking if she could have them. XD I don't own it. Never will.
Dedication: To said friend 'cause I would have been too distracted watching her play Final Fantasy XII and probably would've forgotten all about it.
Cloud loved how Leon looked after a particularly long battle. The brunette held an afterglow of sorts – his movements were almost graceful, his usually stoic face on the verge of a smile. Cloud followed Leon around when this happened – but Leon didn't need to know that.
Cloud loved how Leon's eyes were this perfect shade of grey. He would mentally compare them to the colour of the sky just before an unusually fierce storm hit. But every time the thought crept into his mind, he crushed it. 'A child's fantasy' he called it.
Cloud loved the style of Leon's hair. Now this he wasn't too sure about, but he thought it might of had something to do with how he imagined it felt. His mind told him it would be soft and silky. And the one time he dared to touch it, he ended up cleaning the entire castle. It goes without saying that Cloud never touched Leon's hair again.
Cloud loved Leon's voice. It was soothing, almost, to listen to the man speak. And in the rare instances that the two were alone, Cloud would ask Leon meaningless questions just to hear the other speak. He cherished those moments in his memory.
Cloud loved the feel of Leon's lips against his. He couldn't remember how it started. He couldn't remember where he was. He couldn't remember all the trivial things about the other man that constantly plagued his mind. He could barely remember his own name. But he memorized the feeling of that first desperate kiss among many and decided that was all that really mattered.
Please review, it really makes me happy to know that someone out there likes this.
