If you were to ask Rodolphus Lestrange about the first time his wife performed magic, he would retell—with reverence—how at the age of twenty nine Bellatrix Black jeered to the Council of Magical Law that the Dark Lord would rise again and, for the briefest of moments, every wizard in the hall believed her.
