Goodbye Kiss

Teddy Lupin leaned against the wall inconspicuously. His hair was an incredibly boring shade of sandy blonde, but he didn't want to be noticed; except by a certain someone. He kept his eyes out for distinctive silvery hair. This was, of course, easier said than done. Platform Nine and Three Quarters was swarming with parents saying goodbye to their children. Teddy felt a pang of sadness in the pit of his stomach; he wasn't going back to Hogwarts anymore, and his parents had never been able to see him off to school in the first place. He had graduated in June and was now on his own.

A flash of silver caught Teddy's attention. Quick as lightening, he reached out and grabbed Victoire's arm and pulled her against his body.

"Teddy!" she shrieked, clearly shocked by this. His hair turned back to its signature turquoise.

"What can I do for you?" She took his face in her hands.

"I thought that you weren't going to make it," she confessed softly.

"Well I'm here." Their lips met in a tender kiss. Victoire wound her fingers through his hair and deepened the kiss.

The couple was so wrapped up in saying goodbye to each other that they didn't realize that they had a captive audience.

Suddenly, a small and familiar voice asked, "Whatcha doin'?" victoire broke off the kiss and turned around slightly. She came face to face with the bright eyes of her cousin, James.

"Seeing Victoire off," Teddy replied.

"You were snogging her!"

"Goodbye James!"

"My mom and dad do that all the time." Victoire buried her face in Teddy's chest to muffle her laughter. His hair turned a fiery red that rivaled the Weasleys'.

"Goodbye James!"

"Bye Teddy. See you later Vicki." She cringed at her hated nickname. James waved eagerly before disappearing into the crowds.

"Your cousins can be a pain in the ass."

"But they're cute," Victoire argued.

"Cute or not, they're a pain in the ass." She played with the hair on the back of Teddy's neck, which had turned back to turquoise.

"Let's just go back to what we were doing before I have to leave." He didn't need telling twice. He pressed his lips against hers in another kiss.

After the Hogwarts Express pulled out of the station, Teddy drifted over to where Harry was with everyone else.

"Hi Teddy," Ginny said when she saw him.

"Hi Ginny."

"Teddy, I hear you were with my niece," Ron joked. "Be careful of my brother." Teddy simply shrugged.

"I'm not worried; I'm more werewolf than he is." Ron snorted, and Hermione rolled her eyes.

"You guys can be so immature," she commented. He kissed her cheek softly.

"But you love us anyway."

"Unfortunately I do." Harry turned his attention away from his bickering best friends and to his godson.

"So, how's Victoire?" he asked as they began to walk along the platform.

"She's ready to graduate."

"You guys were actually talking? We heard from James that you guys were snogging." Teddy swung his arm around Harry's shoulders casually.

"Yeah, well we heard from James that you and Ginny are snogging all the time."

"My son has a big mouth."

"And this is news to you how?" Lily and Hugo came flying out of nowhere and latched themselves to Teddy's legs.

"Teddy! Teddy!" they chanted. Teddy stopped walking and ruffled their hair.

"Hey you two, what's up?"

"Play game!"

"Sorry, I can't. I have to get going." He said goodbye to everyone and Disapparated off the platform.
