Harry was looking though all the Lockhart books before throwing them against the wall.
"These aren't textbooks, they're stories" exclaimed Harry
"They aren't very good stories at that" he said
He picked them all up and brought them downstairs to the living room.
"Can you look at these mom" asked Harry putting the books on the table
Lily looked at them and saw they were all the Lockhart books.
"Why do you want me to look at them" asked Lily
"So, you don't get mad when I use them for Katon practice" said Harry
"They can't be that bad" said Lily picking one up
Sometime later Lily was growling as she finished looking though all the Lockhart books.
"That greedy faker" growled Lily
"James was right" she said
"Thank you" said James walking in
"What was I right about" he asked
"Lockhart is a greedy faker" said Lily
"Ah" said James
"They are that bad" he asked
"Yes" said Harry nodding his head
"I am going to borrow Yuki for a bit" said Lily
She then disappeared in a burst of fire. She reappeared a little while later and took out three books.
"Here you go Harry" said Lily handing him a book
"What is it" asked Harry taking it
"It's the book we used during our second year" said Lily
"I got two for Naruto and Hinata as well" she added
"Thanks mom" said Harry
Once Team James met up, Naruto took out the Lockhart books and gave them to Harry.
"Here you go Harry" said Naruto
"Ahh, you came to the same conclusion I did" said Harry
"They are only good for Katon practice" he added
"Yeah" said Naruto nodding his head
"Why was he hired as the teacher" asked Hinata
"I don't know" said James
"I am going to have to talk to Dumbledore about this" he said
"Here you go" said Harry handing a book to Naruto and Hinata
"What is this" asked Naruto taking it
"That is the book that me and Lilly used during our second year" said James
"Lily got them for everyone" he said
"Thank you" said Hinata
Team James had left Konoha and was getting ready to leave for Hogwarts when Yuki appeared with a letter. James took the letter and read it.
"Looks like Sirius found out what the diary was" said James
"You will have to go to the Platform yourselves" he said
"Ok" said Harry
James grabbed onto Yuki and flamed away. Harry, Naruto, and Hinata grabbed onto Hoshi and flamed away as well.
James appeared in Sirius' house and sat down.
"You found out what the diary is" asked James
"Yes" said Sirius nodding his head
"It's a Horcrux" he said
"It's a vile piece of dark magic that tears the user's soul apart and stores a piece of it in an object" he explained
"So, He made it" said James
"Correct" said Sirius
"But he made more than one" he said
He then threw a locket on the table next to the diary.
"How did you find that out" asked James
"I had to go to my old home to visit the library" explained Sirius
"While there, Kreacher kept staring at the diary until I asked why he was doing that" he continued
"That eventually led to me finding out that Regulus died a hero trying to destroy it" he finished
"Why haven't they been destroyed yet" asked James
"Because it requires something really powerful to overcome the innate magic fixing it" explains Sirius
"Like fiendfyre or Basilisk venom" he added
James thought about it for a few moments before he said "I think I might know another way to destroy them"
He then got up and sealed away the diary and locket.
"Thank you for looking into this for me" said James
"No problem" said Sirius
"I will continue to look into if He made anymore" he said
"Thank you" said James
"Inform me if you find anymore" he said
He then grabbed Yuki and flamed away.
Harry, Naruto, and Hinata appeared on Platform 9 ¾ and got onto the train. They walked down the train until they found a mostly empty compartment. The only one in there was a blonde-haired girl reading a magazine upside down.
"Hello Harry Potter" said the girl seeing them
"Who are you" asked Harry
"My name is Luna Lovegood"
"Why are you reading that magazine upside down" asked Naruto
"It is the only way to read the 'Real' stories" said Luna
Harry, Naruto, and Hinata just shrugged their shoulders at that and sat down. Soon the whistle blew, and the train started moving. Soon after that Ginny ran in and sat down.
"You are late Ginevra" said Luna
"You know how my family is Luna" said Ginny
"Always getting ready at the last minute" she said
She then noticed who was sitting across from her and let out a 'eep'.
"Looks like one of your fan girls is here Harry" said Naruto
Hinata hit Naruto upside the shoulder for that remark.
"Do you like to be called Ginevra or Ginny" asked Hinata
"Ginny"
"It's nice to meet you Ginny" said Hinata
"There is nothing to worry about, just act like yourself and everything will be fine" said Harry
Ginny just nodded her head blushing madly.
After the lunch trolley went by, Luna put her magazine away and looked at Naruto.
"Why do you have a fox in you" asked Luna
"WHAT" yelled Harry and Hinata
"How do you know that" growled Naruto
"I can see it right there" said Luna pointing at Naruto's seal
Hinata activated her Byakugan and looked at Luna. She saw she was channeling magic to her eyes.
"What is that" exclaimed Ginny pointing at budged out veins around Hinata's eyes
"My Byakugan" said Hinata
"It allows me to see the flow of magic in a person's body" she explained
"Why are you channeling magic to your eyes" she asked
"What do you mean" asked Luna confused
"I am not doing anything" she said
"Can you close your eyes" asked Hinata
"Sure" said Luna
She closed her eyes and stopped channeling magic to her eyes.
"Go ahead and open them" said Hinata
Luna opened her eyes and started channeling magic to them again.
"Hold still" said Hinata
She then poked the tenketsu on either side of Luna's head and her eyes lost their cloudy look.
"Everything looks boring now" said Luna
Hinata then unblocked those two tenketsu and Luna's eyes gained the cloudy look back.
"Everything exploded into color" said Luna
"Wait a minute, everything that Luna is seeing is magic" asked Ginny
"That is what it looks like" said Hinata
"How long has this been going on" she asked
"Since I saw my mother die" said Luna
"Something during that incident must have caused this to happen" said Harry
"Are you able to pull the magic back" asked Hinata
"You can control you magic" asked Luna
"Yes, that is how I activate and deactivate my Byakugan" said Hinata
"I can teach you how to do it" she said
"I would like that" said Luna smiling
"Could you teach me that as well" asked Ginny
"I could" said Harry
Ginny started blushing at that.
"You know that as well" asked Ginny
"We all do" said Naruto
"But Harry would be the best to teach you" he said
"Why is that" asked Luna
Harry just activated his Sharingan.
"Pretty" said Ginny in a trance staring into them
"What does it do" asked Luna
"It allows me to predict my opponent's moves" said Harry
Harry deactivate it causing Ginny to snap out of it and shake her head.
"What was that" asked Ginny
"It has hypnotism qualities as well" said Harry
"Don't stare at it then" said Ginny
"You never told me why you have a fox in you" said Luna
"Family secret" said Naruto
"Ok" said Luna going back to her magazine
A little while later an announcement was made saying they were approaching Hogsmeade station. Harry and Naruto left the compartment to get changed allowing the girls to change as well.
Once they arrived at the station Harry, Naruto, and Hinata said goodbye to Ginny and Luna and followed the older students towards a collection of carriages. As they got closer, they saw they were being pulled skeletal looking horses.
"What weird looking horses" said Naruto
"What are you talking about" said Hermione coming up to them
"There is nothing there" she said
"What do you mean" asked Hinata
"They are right there" she said pointing at them
Harry walked up to one of them and started petting them.
"Stop trying to trick me by pretending to pet something" growled Hermione
Hinata activated her Byakugan but didn't see Hermione being affected by anything. Harry activated his Sharingan but didn't see any Genjutsu around.
"Did you see anything" asked Naruto
"No" said Hinata shaking her head deactivating her Byakugan
"She is not being affected by anything" she said
"I didn't see any Genjutsu either" said Harry deactivating his Sharingan
"We need to research this" he said
