The Way He Is
Sasuke was not the perfect boyfriend. Sakura became aware of this back from the time they were twelve, and sees it as a fact. Even as they became older, he was still as emotionally stunted as he was as a preteen. Frankly, Sasuke wasn't a knight in shining armor. He had his moments, but they were not often. Sakura recalls the time when they were invited to a party of Naruto's and she couldn't help but notice the other girls' boyfriends whispering sweet things into their ears while Sasuke quietly stood by her with his hands in his pockets.
When they were 20, Sakura was sure that he wasn't the ideal husband. Consequently, she always had excuses in mind on why he wasn't perfect—they married young, he's just not that kind of man, it wasn't entirely his fault because she had her faults too. Sasuke would make faces at her food sometimes, and argued with her over the simplest things. He always seemed to apologize too late.
He wasn't a sex god. Almost every woman around his age fantasized and believed this myth, including Sakura when she was young. She grew to know better, as she usually had to make the first move when they were first married, because truthfully, Sasuke never really thought of the concept before until his late teens.
Sasuke was a pretty good father to some—an excellent one in her opinion. Sakura was able to forgive just about every flaw he had because of the way he treated his children. He wasn't perfect of course, but every time he gave an inkling of a smile to his son for doing well at school even if the boy wasn't at the top of his class, or picked up his daughter and swung her around when he thought no one was looking, Sakura was glad he was the one.
A/N: Since I forgot about the prompt after I wrote and uploaded this I'm going to say it's 'Sanctity' because of Sakura's devotion to him no matter what. (At least...that's what I think sanctity basically means...) I got that definition from the thesaurus. If not, oh well I'm not changing it. :)
