Author Note: Hi all. Here's another Skull and Kim one-shot. This helps me brainstorm for my next projects, so enjoy! Also, this is a rather maturely centered version of Skull, so no character bashing.
Disclaimer: I don't own PR.
Hold Onto Me
Today's going to be sad. She's leaving today. There still things in my mind I still want to say to her. She's leaving on a jet plane and I have so much to tell her. I look to my side and she's hugging and embracing everyone, but me.
She looks over as her brown eyes look over at me. Her smile and eyes just send shivers down my spine. Will I ever see her again?
"Hey Skull," she said as she jabbed my arm a little as she looked up at me.
"Hey Kimberly," I said as I gave her a hug.
The petite gymnast looked at me as she continued fixating her eyes at me. This was probably the last time I would see her till Christmas. It was a challenge that the two of us would have to handle.
We were standing at the airport terminal as we began laughing and talking. It felt like the good old days again. The two of us hadn't forgotten such fond memories she had here in Angel Grove.
Needless to say, I remind myself each day I love her. With that, she loves me – completely.
Her soft features continue to make me melt as I give a smirk. Things really changed between the two of us. However, none of this bully and gymnast sort of friendship- thing, but two friends, just enjoying each other's company before she leaves for Florida.
I jotted down my number as she hinted that she may need a few days to adjust, so I gladly offered to be there for her.
"It's not going to be the same Kim," I hinted as I looked down. My eyes began to well up as a smirk came across our faces. "It's not going to be the same."
"But, it will. You have Bulk to bug," she teased me with a budding smile.
I pulled her close me to as we share a kiss. Our lips parted as I kissed her back. I could feel the sensation of our friendship blossoming into a romance. We were more than just friends now that grew up together.
She rested her head against my chest as I watched the time go by. It was only a matter of minutes till we finally said goodbye.
"Hold on to me, Kim," I said in a whisper.
"I will and I will never let go," she whispered back.
As the minutes turned into hours, I didn't want to her to leave my side. I wrapped my arm around her as we continued talking to her friends.
Today, my best friend and girlfriend leaves. Kimberly, don't ever let go.
