In the end there was nothingness. It wasn't dark or light. There was no air, no sound, no life. It was the absence of all describable matter, or sensation. It was an abyss; except that even abyss gave it too much depth. It just was.

"So this is the void."

And then a voice pierced the nothing.

"Kind of boring."

"Did you expect there to be a party?" The Doctor asked his companion.

"Don't know, something."

"Next time we get sucked into a void of nothingness I'll remember to stop for party games."

"I'm sure I saw Monopoly around here somewhere."
