Could people fall in love, the first time they see each other? He had always thought such things didn't happen. He had always thought people said that, just because it was 'romantic'. Because it meant they were 'meant to be together'. Yeah, right, he thought. Like there is a rope or something, that binds two people together, the moment they're born. But that's the way he had always thought.
Could people go on, after the love of their life was gone? He had always thought such things didn't happen. He had always thought people said that, just because it was 'romantic'. Yeah, right, he thought.
Of course, it hurts if the one you are in love with dies. But it doesn't mean you can't be ever happy again. Does it? But that's the way he had always thought.
He had met her just a year ago. She looked...yeah, how did she look? He didn't really know. His first thought was that she looked lost. Not just lost in the city, but really lost. Like, lost in life. Like she didn't know where she came from, where she was now, or where she had to go.
She was alone. She was all alone. And it scared her she was alone. He didn't want her to be scared. He didn't want her to be alone. And then, she turned around. And he saw her eyes. They looked into each other's eyes. Blue eyes looked into blue eyes. Hers were shining with new hope, his were shocked. And that was the moment he had fallen in love with her.
The next day, he saw her again. She walked towards him.
"My name is Kisara." she whispered.
"I'm Seto." he said.
And then she smiled, and it was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. If she smiled, then everything smiled. The whole world. Her eyes were shining, her eyes, her beautiful eyes, he would drown in them if he could. But he would never see those eyes again.
They had met often after that day. They were in love. Yes, they were definitely, totally in love. It was the best time they had had in their entire life. But that time would never return.
It happened one month ago. A plane crash. She was on the plane. There were about twenty survivors. He hoped she would be one of them. He hoped so much she would. And she was. But she was so badly injured. She wouldn't survive much longer. She died in his arms, with a smile on her face. Her very last smile. Her last words were meant for him. Only for him.
"I love you."
A/N Thanks for reading. I wrote this one-shot after I had read 'The Rain' from May-D. I hope you like it. I've always wanted to write a Seto/Kisara love story. And here it is. If you would leave a review or something like that, I would appreciate that. But if you don't, then I hope you liked the story anyway.
With love,
Lenneko-chan
