Summary: Set shortly after the trio had to leave Grimmauld Place. Harry is a bit annoyed at Hermione's lack of planning in the food department.

A/N: Just a little slice of life thing that popped into my head. Anything you recognize I most likely stole so I could play with them.

Proper Preparedness

Harry paced the tent. "Hermione," he said slowly, "I'm not complaining, or trying to make you feel bad. But, don't you think stocking the cupboards would have been a good idea?" he gestured toward the kitchen and its empty cabinets.

"Well, yes. But…" she shrugged and shook her head. Looking a bit peeved that he seemed to think she had to pack everything.

"I know we were a little rushed." He shook his head. "You really are the most prepared of all of us."

She smiled and preened a little before Ron snorted, "I'm still hungry and I really don't want any more cup noodles."

Harry nodded, "Yeah Ron, I think we all agree on that." He sighed. "I have an idea. You aren't going to approve though, Hermione."

They packed up their tent and Apparated near a large town. "Hermione, keep Ron out of camera range." Harry said as they approached the bank and the walk up ATM.

Hermione suddenly looked around. "Harry tell me you're not going to…" she gasp as Harry flicked his wand smearing mud on the camera from just out of range. He then tapped the ATM with his wand hiding the action from casual observers with his body and collected the approximately three thousand pounds that spewed out of the machine.

As they walked away Harry said, "I told you, you wouldn't like it."

Hermione opened and closed her mouth several times before getting the words out in a hiss, "I can't believe you just robbed a bank."

Harry grinned, "I know, I didn't think it'd be that easy." He turned into a nearby grocery store and started filling a buggy. "So, what do you guys want for dinner?"

AN: Again this is just a one shot. There will not be any more of it. On one of the groups I monitor there was a discussion about Ron and why he left during the hunt, as well as his eating habits and general characteristics. This is the solution I had Harry come up with. And it's not like they didn't actually rob a bank later in canon.
