I love that Gizzie has survived thus far, and although it kills me that Callie is realizing George is having an affair with everything she has going on right now (because I like Callie, I just hate O'Callie), I hope Shonda doesn't give the couple the axe. Song is "Breathe Me" by Sia. It's beautiful, and I love it.

.x. Breathe Me .x.

He's here. He's an intern, hopelessly in love with his friend. It's like déjà vu, but this is vividly, distinctly real. This is not a sense of something having happened before, because this has happened before. Only this time, this second time, things are worse. Because he's repeating his intern year, and his friend is in love with him too, but this time he's married. This time he's going to hurt someone beside himself.

His hand rests on the curve of her back, a feeling so familiar to him now that it's almost second nature. He can feel the smoothness of her skin and smell a hint of vanilla extract still clinging to her from the last time she was in the kitchen. She's staring at him softly, and she reaches a hand out to touch his cheek.

"We'll get through this, George," she whispers, and he thinks of her lying on the bathroom floor in her prom dress, and he feels like he should be lying there now, lost and confused and unsure of himself. "We will get past this."

"I'm static. I…" He looks away from her, away from those eyes that make him feel frozen in time. "I'm right back where I was. I'm right back where I started."

"George – "

"No." He rolls over, his hand losing contact with her body. "I performed heart surgery in an elevator. I was Burke's guy. No one else – no one else… Meredith lost her mother, and her father, and nearly drowned. Alex got stuck on the gynie squad. Cristina was planning a wedding. You…" He glances over at her and trails off. "And somehow I'm the only one that's exactly the same."

"I don't know what to tell you."

"I don't want you to tell me anything."

"Then what – ?"

"Just…stay here. Stay with me." He rolls onto his side again, pulling her into him, their legs tangled in the blankets.

"I'm right here, George."

"Don't leave me behind."

She shakes her head, leaning forward until her forehead touches his. She shakes her head again, and their noses touch. He kisses her gently, her arms wrapping around him.

"I'm right here, I promise.

"Don't go."

"I won't." His lips touch her collarbone and neck. "I won't go anywhere. Right here… I'll be right here…"

Don't go, don't go, don't go…
