It was two days after the locker room incident, and Mac had called Danny and Lindsay into his office.
"What do you think Mac wants?" Lindsay asked as she twisted her hands.
"I don't know."
"I mean he can't want to talk about our cases, we are on different ones." Lindsay was nervous and was rambling. Danny smirked and she hit him in his arm.
"Linds don't worry about it; it is going to be fine." The two walked into Macs office. "You wanted to see us boss."
Mac motioned for them to take a seat, "I am guessing from the other day in the locker room, that the two of you are dating?" Mac asked. Lindsay didn't know how to respond, sure she and Danny had slept together, but they had yet to figure out details on their relationship. Every time they sat down to talk about it they would end up making out. Thankfully Danny answered for her and told Mac that they were indeed dating. "I thought, it was really only a matter of time," Danny and Lindsay looked at each other, were they really that transparent? "Anyways I am not going to object, I don't think that it will affect your work, just make sure you do not bring it in the office."
"Sure thing boss." Danny said and Mac dismissed them. As they were leaving Lindsay told Danny that she had to go get a result from Adam and that she would meet him at Cozy's. Mac smiled at his CSI's and thought of a plan.
"What's up Mac?" Stella asked Mac outside the break room. The rest of the team was already there.
"Well, I thought that it would be nice to have the team hang out tonight."
"Sounds good but what about Danno and Lindsay?" Flack asked
"Don't worry, they'll be there."
"So Mac, I thought Danny and Lindsay were going to meet us here." Hawked said while they made there way through the crowd.
"Hey, Danno is over there sucking face with some chick." Flack said pointing to a corner booth. "Danny!" Danny turned around and spotted the team and groaned this was not going to be good.
"That chick is Lindsay!" Hawkes said astonished. Stella let a squeal and ran over to the two.
"So, were you not going to share this very important piece of information with me? We girls have to stick together."
"Well it never really came up in conversation."
"Wait, hold on everybody. Danny you were just kissing Lindsay." Flack said confusion on his face.
"I was aware of that." Danny said in a "duh" tone and Lindsay squeezed his hand.
"You and Monroe?" Flack asked and Danny shook his head. "You like Messer?" Lindsay shook her head. "Whoa! I really need a beer." The team laughed and Danny motioned for the waitress.
"So whose idea was it to go out tonight and to cozy's of all the places?" Danny asked looking directly at Mac already knowing the answer.
"What, it's good for the team to bond." Mac said.
"Okay…whatever." Danny said turning towards Stella who had started to speak.
"I say we have a toast to Danny and Lindsay." Lindsay blushed as they clinked there glasses together.
