Summary: Did House forget their anniversary? (Huddy Fic)
A/N: I'm back with some more Huddy love!! I've been reading all of the great fics too and there are so many I have to review. I hope you guys enjoy this!
Lisa Cuddy made her way to the clinic searching for the closed door she knew that House was in. A woman held a crying baby; yeah he was in there.
"House," she said angrily with her hands on her hips.
"Cuddy," he mimicked in a sarcastic tone.
"You do know what today is," she asked.
"Wednesday September 12, 2007. Unless I'm House of the future."
"I'm serious Greg," she replied.
"Weird. I am too." Lisa could feel her eyes water. She blinked back a few tears.
"Here," she said pushing a folder towards him. "Twenty two year old man with severe chest pains." Before he could reply or argue, she turned her back.
She couldn't believe he had forgotten. He was an arrogant, selfish, immature ass, but he could have at least remembered their one-year anniversary!
It felt like only yesterday that they declared their love to each other and began a closer relationship, true. But Lisa had hinted over and over again about the day and Greg confirmed over and over again that he understood. There was no breakfast in bed, a rose on the pillow or a few extra kisses. Only the regular get your ass up to go to work routine.
Shift went by ridiculously slow. Lisa had not said much of anything to House and everyone sensed her anger. She gathered her keys and her coat. House had already left with his bike.
She went out to her car, her heels clicking on the cement under her feet. Opening the door, the light brightened the dark parking lot.
As she inserted the key in to the ignition she saw a yellow sticky not on the middle of the steering wheel.
'Meet me at 230 Westdale St. Love House' it read in House's messy scribbles. She smiled and started the car. Maybe he did remember.
She found the address and found herself in front of La Entrée, a French restaurant that she'd been dying to go to. Going in she made her way past the line of people waiting at the door and told the hostess her name. She directed her to a table where House was sitting, his back facing her.
"Mr. House," the hostess said. House stood up and turned around with a single rose in his hand. Lisa's smile grew wider.
"Gregory," she said softly before hugging him.
"What? You thought I'd actually forget?" he asked.
"Something like that," she looked into his blue eyes and kissed him.
"I love you," he whispered, "Happy one-year anniversary."
"I love you too and happy anniversary," she replied. "I'm not even dressed for the occasion." House looked at her attire, a button down blouse and a tight fitted skirt that flaunted her curves. House wore a black and white suit looking perfect and handsome.
"Lisa, you're fine. You won't be wearing it for that long anyways. Just while were in public." She playfully hit his chest and sat down across from him.
"We have to hurry up. I'm renting by this whole area by the hour and honey, it ain't that cheap."
"We won't be here that long. I still have my present to share," she replied with a seductive look.
"Care to share?"
"Nope," was her simple reply.
A/N: I know it sucked, but I was bored and had to write something. Please review.
