Changes: Peter returns with the group to London and tries to live a normal life.

He had certainly grown since the fateful trip to Neverland. Wendy noticed his change one day when they were sitting outside, doing their schoolwork. Peter Pan had grown up. Well, sorta. He was only now just fifthteen, but he already looked ages further. He was very attractive, which didn't surprise her, she'd always believed so. But his hair had become longer and his muscles were well-defined, showing through his sweater. They had never spoken of Hook or Tinkerbell, or any of the other things they'd left behind.

Until now.

"I'm going back," he murmured absently, suddenly facing her, serious. "I have to."

"Go back where?" Wendy asked, realization dawning on her face. "Peter…"

"I tried it this way, but it's not working," he sighed.

She replied, "What about the lost boys? Mother? Father? Me?"

"Come with me," he pleaded, "Please."

"How can I?" Wendy asked, "My parents…"

"We'll explain it to them," he said. "This isn't me…and you know it."

"Well this is me," Wendy sighed.

"No," Peter refused, "It's not. Red Handed Jill?"

"Please, Peter. I'm too old for such silly things," she murmured, however her tone suggested different, until she sounded as she was trying to convince herself. "Far to old."

"Exactly! Pretty soon, we'll forget about Neverland completely! I'm going back, Wendy, and I want you to come," Peter pleaded. Wendy assumed his wishing for her existence near him was more then a hope for a good friend by his side. They hadn't really spoken about their "romance" in years, but it had always been there, and she had waited patiently for it to resurface.

"Peter…" Wendy groaned.

Peter stood up, "Well, I want to go, but I won't if it means leaving you…think about it, okay?"

"Sure," Wendy nodded.

"Promise?" he asked. She nodded. He leaned in a kissed her light on the cheek, however upon pulling back, his lips caught hers. Neither justified it, or worried about an onlooker, they just kissed, for the first time in many, many moons.

Peter headed for the back door, to go inside, "Think it through."

"Peter!" Wendy called, "I don't need to."

"Well?" Peter bound back towards her.

"I'll go," Wendy said, "Right after the term ends."

Peter nodded, "Reasonable. Thank you."

"Just promise me one thing," Wendy smiled. Peter raised an eyebrow. Wendy smiled, "You'll teach me how to use a sword, again."

Peter smiled, "You have my word."
