What If…
Roxas and Axel were fooling around in Vexen's lab and Roxas was shrunk to the size of a coke can? And they tried to keep it a secret from the other members?
((As suggested by the creative LunarIsOfficiallyInsane))
"Axel!" Roxas whispered urgently for what had to be the hundredth time, "Hurry up already!"
Axel rolled his eyes. "Stop being such a baby," he replied, examining the beakers on the lab table closely. "Oooh look at this one!" he said, distracted as he lifted a small test tube containing a pink, almost gaseous-looking liquid from its stand.
"Axel!" Roxas scolded again, "We're not here to steal more of Vexen's stuff; we're here to put back what we took in the first place!"
Axel waved him off. "You worry too much; look how grown up we're being! We're returning a stolen experiment out of the kindness of our non-existent hearts!"
"Only because Vexen threatened us at dinner," Roxas replied dryly.
Axel put back the pink bottle, feigning offense as he turned to Roxas. "He didn't threaten us," he emphasized, "He was just informing whoever stole his experiment—"
"—which is us—"
Axel ignored Roxas' interruption, "—that they might not be able to engage in certain activities anymore if he didn't get his experiment back by tomorrow morning."
"Which is why we're here," Roxas finished, gesturing for Axel to just put the bottle they stole back already.
"I still think he was bluffing," Axel commented, emerald eyes refocusing on the table.
"And I don't want to find out," Roxas retorted, "Stealing Vexen's stuff is fun and all, but when he gets pissed about it somehow I'm always the one that suffers." Axel looked back at Roxas, noting his genuine distress.
"…Alright," he said, decided to humor Roxas a little...but not before having some fun first. He pulled a small green bottle out from the folds of his cloak. "Let's just put this away and get going, sound good?"
Roxas decided it was in his best interest not to point out that he had been suggesting that very thing for the past five minutes. As Axel moved to return the bottle to the table, he suddenly turned to Roxas with a devilish smirk. "Catch," he said before tossing it to Roxas.
Roxas squawked in surprise before he flailed, reaching out to securely catch the bottle against his chest. "What the hell Axel!"
"Calm down," Axel said with a chuckle, hands up in a defensive gesture, "I switched the real one with an empty one from the table," he explained, holding up the green bottle still in his hand.
"No you didn't," Roxas said, piqued, "This one's not empty." He held it up to eye level, giving it a little shake.
"Yes it is," Axel insisted, checking the one in his hand, "This is the real one; I could've swore the one from the table had nothing in it—"
"Well it does," Roxas snapped, angry that Axel would willingly act to cavalierly around the countless experiments that even they dared not steal. He pulled out the stopper to prove his point. "You just threw an unknown experiment at me," he scolded, "Look—" Roxas held the bottle close to his face, peering in to confirm there was liquid inside before holding it out to Axel. However, before Axel could approach him, there was a loud Pop! And Roxas disappeared in a cloud of smoke. On reflex, Axel lunged forward, catching the bottle mid-air and covering it with a makeshift lid from the table before it could do any more damage.
He set the bottle down, sharp eyes scanning the dark laboratory. "Roxas?" he called out with no small amount of worry in his voice, "Roxas, where are you? Roxas?!"
"Over here!" Axel heard a small voice to his left; he turned and saw nothing.
"Where?" he asked, taking a tentative step closer towards the voice, looking everywhere (even the ceiling) for Roxas.
"Over. Here!" Axel definitely heard the voice come from below him. He looked down and saw a small object jumping up and down. He squatted lower to find that it wasn't an object at all: it was Roxas.
"What the—" he started, tentatively reaching out to pick up Roxas with both hands. He was about the size of a pop can. Roxas stood in the center of Axel's outstretched palms, trying o instill damage by kicking at his fingers.
"You son of a bitch!" he cursed, blue eyes sparking with anger. "This is your fault!"
"You opened the bottle," Axel couldn't resist pointing out.
It was not the right thing to say. Axel could see Roxas' anger reach critical mass before he shut down, sitting in Axel's palm. "We're going to Vexen tomorrow morning," he said in a dangerously quiet tone that left no room for argument.
"But then he'll wonder why we were down here!" Axel couldn't resist protesting. He knew he was in deep shit; hell, why not make it worse? "He doesn't know it was us who took his experiment."
Roxas gave him his most sardonic of looks. "You seriously think he doesn't know it was us?" he asked. When Axel didn't reply right away, Roxas nodded as if the matter was settled. "Tomorrow morning we will go to him and apologize, but for now, let's go to bed."
"But—"
"Now." Roxas said in a commanding voice, and Axel winced before heading towards the stairs. There was a small moment of silence, but Axel just couldn't resist one more jibe.
"What are you going to wear to bed?"
"Axel!"
-((The Next Morning))-
After Roxas' initial temper subsided, the two decided to corner Vexen right after breakfast. Roxas would pretend that he was sick that morning, and no one would be the wiser. Roxas will be back to normal, and we can laugh off this whole thing, Axel thought as he brushed his hand over his hip, checking for the umpteenth time that Roxas was safe and secure, tucked away in the inner pocket of his cloak. Yep. A simple fix. However, when Axel entered the cafeteria, the Chilly Academic was nowhere to be found. He and Roxas were the only people missing from the table.
As soon as Axel sat down and started fixing himself a plate, the Superior stood as if to say something important. The general chatter of breakfast quieted as everyone stopped to listen. "I have a very important announcement," he started, addressing the group loudly and with authority, "Late last night it was brought to my attention the existence of a new world with magical properties that may drastically aid our quest for Kingdom Hearts. The terrain has a potential to be icy and dangerous, so I decided that for research and practicality purposes, Number IV was the best Nobody for the task. He will be gone for the remainder of the week.
"As such, this could be a very important week for us. We may be on the cusp of a breakthrough in efficiency, so everyone needs to be doing their best. Therefore, for maximum results, this week, all missions will be partnered."
Fuck, Axel thought, What if Roxas doesn't get partnered with me? He held in his surprise and mounting disquiet as he forced himself to pay attention. "Partners will complete two missions a day. One partner will be responsible for completing the mission report for one world, and vice versa. Unless you are bleeding so much you look like Darkness itself, all missions are mandatory. There is no room for failure. VIII," the Superior said, and Axel schooled his wide-eyed expression into one of boredom as the Superior turned to him. "Where is Number XIII?"
"He wasn't feeling well enough to come to breakfast," Axel replied smoothly, "But I'm sure he'll be able to handle his missions without a problem." He tried not to wince as Roxas kicked him in the hip. "In order to monitor his health this week, I'd like to request that Roxas be partnered with me." Axel held his breath, awaiting the Superior's response.
The Superior nodded, momentarily taken off-guard by Axel's seemingly-sincere answer. "I don't see a problem with that." Axel nodded, masking his relief. No one had further questions, so the Superior sat back down, and breakfast continued as usual.
"Great," Demyx said once the general conversation had begun again, "Just what we needed this week, right?"
"Tell me about it," Axel agreed. He suddenly jumped in his seat, nearly choking on his cereal.
Demyx's brows furrowed in confusion. "Axel? Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Axel replied, subtly knocking his hand into his hip to discourage Roxas from kicking him again. "No problem."
-((~*~))-
"We have a big problem," Roxas said as he paced back and forth on Axel's desk. "Why didn't you just tell the truth?"
Axel snorted. "Because I didn't want to get turned into a Dusk, that's why. It'll be fine; I'll just do the missions myself," he said, mussing Roxas' hair with a finger and chuckling when he received a glare for his troubles.
"No way!" Roxas protested, "Xemnas is going out of his way to make these missions difficult for two people! Double shift like that is way too dangerous, especially if both worlds are challenging," he countered.
"I can handle it," Axel said with an easy grin, "Are you doubting my skill with weaponry?"
Roxas ignored Axel's attempts to distract him from the point. "Besides," he added, "someone will immediately notice that my heart collection count is way less than usual."
Axel gave him a look. "Roxy, no one ever checks those records—"
"Zexion does."
"…Shit."
Roxas nodded, leaning back against Axel's laptop as if his argument was won from that fact alone. However, Axel refused to be deterred, and he just shook his head, holding out a hand for Roxas to jump into. Roxas raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"Come on; I'm not giving up that easily. We're going to go have a talk with Zexion," he said, simply picking Roxas up when he still didn't move. "Being with Demyx has loosened him up a bit, so he should be less inclined to tell on us…hopefully."
Roxas let out a long sigh, sitting back in Axel's palm as the redhead summoned a portal. "Have I mentioned that this is all your fault?"
"Repeatedly. So let me try and fix it, okay?" he replied, voice softening as he held Roxas closer to him in a protective gesture.
"…I guess," Roxas said in a sullen tone, but Axel didn't miss the subtle way he pressed closer into his hand.
Progress! Axel mentally cheered as he stepped into the portal, He may just forgive me yet.
-((~*~))-
With Roxas securely ensconced in his cloak pocket once again, Axel knocked smartly on Zexion's door. He was mildly surprised when he received no answer. He knocked again.
"That's strange," he murmured so Roxas could hear him, "He couldn't have left that quickly for a mission…maybe he stopped at the library—"
The door suddenly flew open, and Zexion was there, hair mussed and jacket unzipped partway. His azure eyes were slightly dilated and he was breathing harder than usual. Axel bit his lip to contain his laughter as the smaller Nobody tried to fill the doorway, but he could see the tuft of blonde hair peeking out from under the covers—
"What." Zexion said flatly, clearly perturbed.
Try as he might, Axel was unable to hold back all of his sarcasm. He wasn't a saint by any means, after all. "Sorry to interrupt," he said, lips curving into a devilish grin, "but we need a favor."
Zexion tried to shut the door. "I'm busy at the moment," he said, but Axel put an arm up over his head, easily holding open the door.
"It'll just take a second," he said, resisting the urge to laugh again as the smaller Nobody finally gave up with a small sight and let him inside.
"Hey Demyx," Axel said to the lump on the bed as he shut the door behind him, "I see you're hard at work already."
"Shut up Axel," Demyx said, throwing back the covers and sitting up with a pout, garbed only in a pair of black jeans. "This better be good."
"It is," Axel said, about to start his explanation, "I—"
"You said we," Zexion said suddenly, cutting him off as he sat down in his desk chair.
"What?" Axel said in confusion.
"At the door," Zexion pointed out, "you said 'we need a favor.' I can only assume you mean Roxas, but where is he?"
"Well," Axel said, drawing out the word as he regarded Demyx for a moment. He really didn't want anyone unnecessary knowing their predicament, but he supposed it was okay if it was Demyx. "He's here."
Zexion's brows furrowed. "Here?"
"Yes," Axel replied, reaching into his coat, "We had a bit of an…accident last night." At this, he pulled Roxas out of his coat, the mini-Nobody standing in his palm with his arms crossed.
He turned up a glare at Axel. "It wasn't an accident; it was Axel being an ass," he said sharply.
Demyx's eyes widened. "Roxas?!" he stared at the travel-sized Number XIII for a moment before turning his blue eyes on Axel. "What'd you do?"
Axel opened his mouth to respond, but Roxas cut him off. "Axel threw one of Vexen's experiments at me."
"Did not!" Axel said automatically, but when Roxas' expression didn't change, he let out a sigh. "Okay, I did. But it was an accident! I thought the bottle was empty," he said in his defense.
"So…" Zexion said, his critical gaze never leaving Roxas. "How am I supposed to help?"
"Vexen's gone all week," Axel explained, "And with this week being so important to Xemnas, I'd rather not get turned into a Dusk for taking his prized Keyblade Wielder out of the picture. So I'm going to do our missions alone," he said. "And since I'm not a Keyblade Wielder…"
"The records will be markedly incorrect," Zexion supplied. "And I would have noticed immediately."
"Exactly," Roxas said, briefly shooting Axel an 'I-told-you-so' look.
"So would you be able to…alter Roxas' numbers for the week, at least until Vexen returns? He can up the deficit later," Axel asked, getting right to the point.
"I could…" Zexion allowed, "but I don't see how it's going to help you when Number IV returns. There's no way he'll keep this a secret from the Superior."
"I figure we'll cross that bridge when we come to it," Axel said, giving Zexion an expectant look. "So will you do it?"
Zexion hesitated for a moment; he really didn't want to be involved in any part of this. Then again, he thought, if I refuse, Axel will probably never stop bothering me about it all week… "I should report you to the Superior right now," Zexion said, and Axel winced slightly, "But if you leave in the next five seconds, I'll help you. Five," he started, and Axel and Roxas disappeared into a portal before he had finished saying the word.
"You're evil," Demyx said from the bed. Zexion turned to face him, a placid expression on his face.
"I don't know what you're talking about," he said mildly, standing and approaching the bed.
"I see what you did there," Demyx accused as Zexion leaned over him, a playful glint in his azure gaze.
"Are you complaining?" he asked, and instead of replying, Demyx pulled him down for a kiss.
-((~*~))-
"Alright!" Axel said once they had returned to his room, "We're in business!" He set Roxas down on his pillow. "As much as I'd love to stay with you, I have a double date with the Land of Dragons and Wonderland…try not to get jealous," he said with a wink. "I'll do the mission you're in charge of first," he continued when Roxas didn't respond, "so that way when the mission report for my mission is late I'll look like the slacker and no one will get suspicious—"
"I'm coming with you," Roxas said suddenly.
Axel stopped talking, bemused. "No, you're not," he said simply as if that decided the matter.
"But—"
"Roxas," Axel said, sitting on the bed next to his Roxas-laden pillow, "I know you want to but you can't help me. This is my fault, so I'll handle it. Okay?" He reached out a hand to caress Roxas' cheek, but faltered when he realized he'd probably just smother him. Roxas reached out instead, wrapping his arms around Axel's fingers.
"I understand," he said in a quiet voice. "I don't like it, but I understand."
Axel resisted the urge to enfold Roxas in his hand, afraid he might crush him accidentally. "I'm really sorry I did this Roxas," he said, green eyes glittering with remorse.
"If you make it through this week alive, I guess I might be able to forgive you," Roxas allowed, "Now pick me up so I can kiss you," he commanded, blushing slightly.
Axel's face lit up with a silly grin. "If you insist," he said, taking Roxas in hand and bringing him close. Roxas leaned forward, kissing him on the cheek.
"Don't die, okay?" Roxas whispered; Axel almost didn't hear him.
"Have some faith Rox," Axel said with an easy smile, setting Roxas back down on the pillow and standing up. "This is going to be a breeze."
-((Three Days Later))-
"Ugh," Axel groaned, collapsing onto his bed after returning late that night from their second mission. "Why does he keep giving us such hard missions? Xemnas must think you're a machine or something…" he said, looking over at his nightstand where Roxas stood, eyeing him with open concern.
"Are you alright?" he asked, and Axel nodded, spurring himself into movement.
"I will be," he replied, removing his worse-for-wear jacket and ripped shirt to reveal a deep gash across his abdomen. "Agrabah was very lively this morning, so I got complacent in The Jungle," he said with a wry twist of his lips.
Roxas sucked in a breath, leaping onto the bed and standing next to Axel's stomach to get a closer look. "Axel...that's—"
"Nothing to worry about," he said, turning to his nightstand and fumbling for his first aid kit. "It's just a scratch," he added, sitting up so he could properly dress the wound.
"Axel, this has got to stop!" Roxas said, worriedly watching as Axel cleaned the injury before tying the bandage.
"Relax," Axel said, resisting the urge to pick Roxas up and simply lying back down on the bed again. "It appears Xemnas might have an ounce of kindness after all; you and I have Twilight Town Duty on Friday, and Vexen should be home soon after that."
"But tomorrow…" Roxas protested, worried, and Axel waved a hand dismissively.
"I will worry about tomorrow when it's tomorrow," Axel said, closing his eyes, "For now I just want to relax for a moment." He let out a slow breath, allowing himself to unwind from the high stress day. However, thirty seconds later his eyes snapped open when he felt something dig into his side before a small weight settled on his chest. His eyes crossed as he tried to focus on Roxas, who had set up camp lying on his chest. "What are you doing?" Axel asked, amused.
"Relaxing like you told me to," Roxas replied stubbornly, refusing to acknowledge the light blush staining his cheeks.
Axel chuckled but said nothing, leaning back against the pillow more comfortably. After a moment of quiet, a sudden thought occurred to him that he was unable to resist voicing. "You're like a cat."
"What?" Roxas said, meeting his eyes.
"You could be mistaken for a really small kitten," he pointed out, brushing his fingers along Roxas' back. "Are you going to purr?"
Roxas smacked his hand away, perturbed. "I'm not a cat," he protested.
"I think you are," Axel continued to tease, easily dodging Roxas' hands to mess up his hair with a few fingers.
"I am not," Roxas said, shifting up onto his knees to glare at him.
Axel laughed but said nothing more, once again closing his eyes. Roxas continued to glare at him, rankled by his comment. Idiot, Roxas thought, frowning at his contentedly relaxed expression. He was then struck by a devious idea…
Axel jumped as he felt a tiny pair of lips brush against his neck. His eyes flew open to see Roxas leaning forward, nipping tenderly at his neck. "Roxas!" Axel complained.
"Do cats do this?" Roxas asked against his skin, kisses migrating down to his collarbone, paying extra attention to a sensitive spot with his teeth and tongue.
Axel fidgeted. "Roxas, stop! That tickles," he said, reaching for him, but his hand faltered when Roxas bit down hard on his chest. "Roxas…" he murmured, and Roxas met his gaze, his blue eyes sparkling with victory. Axel closed his eyes again, groaning softly before sitting up, cradling Roxas in his hands.
"Enough of that," Axel said, keeping him firmly in place. "With you so small, it's…weird."
Roxas said nothing for a moment, basking in the knowledge of the power he held over Axel at any size. "Just think what could happen when I'm back to normal," he couldn't resist teasing.
Axel's grip tightened infinitesimally. "Friday can't come soon enough."
-((Friday Morning))-
"VIII," Axel looked up from his breakfast to see the Superior glaring at him.
Shit; he knows. "…Yes?" he said calmly, even as he started to create excuses as to why Roxas was the size of a pop can; yes, he knew it was irresponsible to keep it a secret, and no he didn't think they could get away with it—
"Since Number XIII has apparently decided that breakfast is beneath him this week, I need you to give him a message," he said, and Axel relaxed ever-so-slightly.
"….He's just tired from the missions," Axel said weakly, but nodded when the Superior said nothing further.
"There's been a schedule change. I need XIII to go with Number XI to Port Royal this morning; I trust that you'll be able to handle Twilight Town on your own?"
"Of course," Axel said, returning to his meal, "I'll tell him." He maintained his calm appearance, ever-mindful of Marluxia's eyes upon him. He looked to the side, and Marluxia met his eyes with a devilish grin.
That shit, Axel thought as he took a bite of his waffles, He did this; I know he did. He thinks we're up to something, but he can't tell what. He thinks he's so clever; well I'll show him…
-((Port Royal))-
"Axel?" Marluxia said in surprise as the Flurry of Dancing Flames exited a portal, appearing beside him. "What are you doing here?"
"Disappointed?" Axel replied as the two walked down the boardwalk.
"But this isn't your mission," Marluxia protested, his voice dripping with false concern, "You were supposed to tell Roxas—"
"Cut the crap Marluxia and say what you want to," Axel said abruptly, stopping in front of the Graceful Assassin.
Marluxia grinned evilly. "If you insist. What are you two hiding?"
"Nothing," Axel said, holding Marluxia's gaze, "Roxas is feeling worse today, so I said I'd cover for him."
"Like I believe that," Marluxia replied, "Besides you, no one has seen him since last week. You did something didn't you?"
"No," Axel replied, but he could tell that he wasn't convincing enough for Marluxia's liking. He sighed. "Look, I'm serious. Roxas has a fever, and he doesn't want to disappoint the Superior, so I'm covering for him just this once. When he's better, he'll come here himself and make up the difference in heart collection. I'd appreciate it if you kept it secret, just this once."
Marluxia gave him a measuring look. "….I could," he allowed, "but only if you prove it."
Axel wasn't sure how he was supposed to reply to that, so he stayed on the defensive. "How am I supposed to prove it? We're in the middle of Port Royal—"
"I want to see him," Marluxia said, barely containing his victorious sneer, "Tonight."
Axel didn't hesitate. "Fine," he replied easily, "I'll bring him by your room later…after he's rested," Axel said firmly, ending the discussion as the two headed off for the mission. Great, Axel complained inwardly, now we really need to get him back to normal. Vexen better get back on time.
-((Friday Evening))-
This needs to get resolved tonight, Roxas thought worriedly as he sat nestled in Axel's pocket, heading for the laboratory. Axel almost didn't make it back from his missions yesterday, and he outright refused to tell me how Port Royal went…I can't tell if he's limping or not, he worried, frustrated. He needs to rest, and I need to make up for all my missed heart collection before the Superior notices. Axel hadn't discussed how exactly he was going to convince Vexen to fix him, but with Axel, you could never tell.
"Well, if it isn't the experiment thief," Vexen said upon Axel's entrance to the lab. "Where's your partner in crime?"
Axel didn't even try to deny his thievery. "Hey; we put it back," he pointed out, avoiding the other question.
"Only after I threatened to take away your sex life," he said pointedly, turning to face him. "What do you want?"
"When we put back the experiment, we had a bit of an accident," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out Roxas, "We need you to put Roxas back to normal."
Vexen focused on the tiny Nobody before he let out a long laugh. "What, am I supposed to fix him out of the kindness of my heart? Too bad I don't have one," he said, turning back to his table. "I'll turn him back when the Superior orders me to."
"You'll turn him back right now, and you'll do it without a word to Xemnas."
Vexen raised an eyebrow. "And why would I do that?"
"Because I know."
Vexen gave him a look. "Know what?"
"About you and Marluxia."
Vexen rolled his eyes. "I don't know what you're talking about—"
"I know about you and Marluxia," Axel said, talking over him, "I know what you did, and most importantly I know where you did it," he said seriously, holding Vexen's gaze and daring him to deny it.
Vexen's eyes narrowed. "You don't have any proof—"
"Do I?" Axel asked, and Vexen fell silent. "So if you don't want me to out you to the entire castle, you better fix Roxas before I count to three. One," he said and Vexen spluttered.
"You can't—"
"Two—"
"Axel—!"
"Th—"
"Fine!" Vexen said, and he took Roxas roughly in hand before grabbing a bottle, unstoppering it with his teeth before holding it in front of Roxas. With a loud Pop! Roxas was standing on his own two feet, normal sized once again.
"Thanks," Axel said shortly, taking Roxas by the shoulder and hauling him into a portal before Vexen could say another word.
Roxas was surprised to see that the portal Axel summoned let to Marluxia's room instead of Axel's. "Axel, what—?"
"I told Marluxia you were sick this morning," Axel supplied as he knocked on the door, "And the only way he said he'd believe me and shut up about it is if he saw you, so—"
The door opened, and Marluxia's expression turned into one of mild surprise as Axel and Roxas stood outside his door with nothing amiss between them. "Well hello Roxas," Marluxia said, smoothly covering up his astonishment, "I'm glad to see that you're feeling okay."
"The mornings have been difficult for me," Roxas replied casually, "but I should be okay next week. I appreciate you keeping our little secret about the mission this morning," he said sincerely.
Marluxia nodded, clearly nonplussed. "No problem," he said, and there was a moment's pause in which Axel enjoyed Marluxia's discomfort before he cleared his throat.
"Thanks again," he said, and the two disappeared into another portal.
Once safely back in Axel's room, the two looked at each other for a moment before bursting into laughter. "It's not every day we get to pull one over on Marluxia," Axel said triumphantly, wrapping his arms around Roxas.
"You're right, that was almost worth it—mmf!" Roxas found his lips suddenly occupied by Axel's; the taller Nobody pulled him even closer as his lips moved fervently over his. He pulled away after a long moment, lips curved in a devilish smirk.
"I've wanted to do that all week," he said sincerely, lips hovering inches from Roxas', "You never realize how important something is until you can't have it anymore. Now," Axel leaned in again for another kiss, but Roxas turned his head, dodging him.
"Wait a second," Roxas protested even as his hands came up to wrap around Axel's shoulders. "You've got blackmail over Vexen and you haven't told me about it?"
"Oh," Axel said dismissively, "I don't." As if that settled the matter, he tried to kiss him again; Roxas dodged him once more.
"You don't? But you said—"
"I was bluffing," Axel said, mischief sparkling in his emerald eyes. "A blind person could see that he and Marluxia are clearly doing it, and I'm sure they've had to have done it somewhere dirty…add to that how gullible Vexen is, and presto! Instant blackmail."
"Diabolical," Roxas praised, and he paused in the act of leaning up to kiss Axel. "You know what this means right?"
"Hmm?"
"We've got to figure out the actual details," he said, and Axel gave him a positively evil grin.
"Absolutely," he agreed before kissing Roxas soundly on the lips. "Later."
-((Meanwhile))-
"Hey Vexen," Marluxia said as the two lay in his bed, settling down for the night after he demonstrated to Vexen just how much he missed him this week.
"Hmm?" Vexen said, rolling over to face the Graceful Assassin.
"Did you do anything to Roxas before you left? Something seemed off…"
"Nope; I didn't do anything," he replied a little too quickly. Well, it's the truth; I really didn't.
Marluxia's eyes narrowed slightly. "Are you sure? I could've sworn those two were up to something…"
Vexen rolled over, pinning Marluxia to the covers. "I swear to you; I did nothing to Roxas before I left this week. And it has been a really long week," he emphasized, dropping slow kisses to Marluxia's neck. "Have I mentioned I missed you?"
Marluxia let out a low chuckle. "I think you've mentioned it once or twice. I wouldn't mind hearing it again though," he replied, and Vexen smirked before closing his lips over Marluxia's.
-((The End!))-
Wow, that was really difficult for some reason. . I hope you enjoyed it! Don't inhale Vexen's experiments, kids. XP Is it bad that my favorite part of my AkuRoku story was Zexion? ;)
Also, I hear conflicting reports as to Demyx's eye color, so blue it is!
Please let me know what you thought! R &R!
Thanks for reading!
Last One: Nervous XD
"AXEL!" he whispered harshly, sitting up. "What the fuck did you do to the fireworks?"
