(Sweatdrops.) Well, I read the first book and I loved it so much that I had to write a story about it. The characters will probably be at least a little out of character because I've only read the first book. So, I'm sorry about that.

Disclaimer: I unfortunately do not own Full Moon. I wish I did own Full Moon. I also wish I had an army of evil duckies that I could take over the world with. But, neither of my wishes is going to come true.

Pairing: MitsukiXTakuto

Takuto and Mitsuki were sitting on the beach alone. Meroko had left them alone because she said she had some 'business' to take care of. Mitsuki didn't really think that it was all that odd. Takuto, however, wondered what kind of 'business' it was exactly. He didn't want to let himself worry too much about Meroko. She could take care of herself. He didn't even really want to have her as a partner anymore. He had made a promise to Mitsuki that he was going to protect her and help her fulfill her dream before she died.

He looked over at Mitsuki. She was staring at the ocean happily. Suddenly, she looked over at Takuto.

"Is something wrong, Takuto?" she asked happily.

"No. Nothing's wrong. Why do you ask?"

"You haven't really talked to me that much today. And just now, you were staring at me. I just thought that maybe something was wrong."

"Yeah well, next time, don't think so hard. You'll hurt yourself." Takuto grinned evilly.

Mitsuki pouted. "Why do you have to be so mean to me all the time, Takuto? What have I ever done to make you hate me?"

"I never said that I hated you. What gave you that idea?"

"Well, you're always so mean to me and you always pick on me. On top of that, sometimes you ignore me or turn away from me when I'm trying to talk to you." Takuto frowned when he saw the sad look on Mitsuki's face.

"Hey, shorty, don't you ever think that I hate you because that is probably the farthest thing from the truth, okay?"

Mitsuki smiled up at Takuto through the tears that were forming in her eyes. A few of the tears spilled down her cheeks. Takuto smiled warmly at her and wiped the tears from her cheeks. She blushed when she felt his touch. Slowly, Takuto leaned towards Mitsuki. His lips met hers in a gentle kiss. He pulled away and looked out into the ocean. Mitsuki moved so that she was sitting right next to Takuto. She rested her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm loosely around her back, resting his hand on her arm.

"I love you, shorty."

"I love you, too, Takuto."

And so they sat watching the sunset across the deep blue ocean.

So, that turned out okay, I guess. --. This ended it up a LOT shorter that I had hoped. Oh well. Please review. And feel free to flame me because I have only read one volume of the manga and so it's probably not that good.
