x Toothpaste x 300 words x Prompt - Eiji and Fuji's toothpaste
Kikumaru Eiji loves every toothpaste there is.
Minty ones, fruity ones, cavity preventing ones... The list goes on.
Eiji loves every single toothpaste... except for one.
Fuji's toothpaste.
He remembers the event quite clearly.
He had been sleeping over at Fuji's house.
He had woken up, ready for some of his favourite toothpaste, anticipating its pleasant taste. He had brought over his toothpaste just for that purpose.
He had trekked over to Fuji's bathroom, where he had stored his toothbrush and toothpaste the previous day. He had picked up his toothbrush with care, and picked up his toothpaste.
Putting the tip of his toothpaste on his toothbrush, he had been squeezing the toothpaste's body expectantly, waiting for the substance to simply flow right out.
It never did though.
Eiji had clutched the toothpaste container more tightly, but still, nothing came out.
He had cried out in anguish, 'Fujiko! My toothpaste!'
To which Fuji cheerfully replied, having appeared at the bathroom's doorway,' I used it up earlier this morning. You can use mine though.'
Eiji had let go of the tube sadly, and taken Fuji's toothpaste. He had put Fuji's toothpaste on to his toothbrush, and started brushing morosely.
Or rather, he would have brushed morosely, if his tongue buds hadn't been burning.
He had looked around frantically, trying to find anything to release his tongue from its agony. He hadn't filled up his cup with water yet.
'Eijiko, is it too spicy for you?' Fuji had said with a smile.
Eiji nodded frenetically, gasping for breath.
Fuji had still been smiling, and then he had quickly leant in, kissing Eiji. Eiji could taste his soothing toothpaste on Fuji's lips.
Fuji then said with a smile, 'Delicious,' leaving Eiji there, slightly stunned.
Kikumaru Eiji doesn't love Fuji's toothpaste. He adores it. x owari

'Fuji, what was that toothpaste anyway?'
'Wasabi. You want some, Eiji?'
'Eh, no thanks, Fujiko.'
