A/N: So, I actually wrote this a few months ago…but was uber reluctant to post it. However, I reread it today…and decided I loved it. SO! I'm posting it.

Disclaimer: I don't own Kingdom Hearts, or Trix cereal…if I did the Rabbit would turn into a madman and kill those retard kids!

The first day of summer you go to Riku's house, you're so bored and no one wants to do anything, so you figure if they aren't willing to go have fun, you'll bring the fun to them. So you enter Riku's house, making a loud entrance because, hey, you can. He's in the kitchen doing the dishes, looking at you guiltily, and then to the wet soapy knife that's on the floor innocently. You don't think anything of it because Riku always looks guilty (You wonder if he's always looked like that or if it's just recent) and your favorite thing to do when washing dishes is drop them on the floor for your mother to yell at you.

You forget about it by the time you start watching the television. Twenty minutes later you forget any plans that you might have had about visiting any of your other friends—you always were a bit of an airhead. Nothing's on but commercials it seems, and though you prepared to flip through the channels until you find something to watch, Riku just lets it rest on a channel until something comes on.

You watch two commercials before yet another one comes on, but at least this one is for a Trix commercial. You love these commercials almost as much as you love the cereal. So you're both sitting there, you're jumping up and down, while Riku is staring at it blankly (Do his eyes ever light up anymore?). You yell in delight as the punch line comes up, talking along with it as they say,

'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'

Riku shakes his head sadly, picking up his things before telling you to go home that he wants to take a nap, and where you think it's odd of him to take a nap so early, and you think it's even odder that he told you to leave. He never cared if you were there or not, even when he was asleep. You practically fucking live there!

But you leave without fuss, shaking your head, and heading down the road to where Tidus lives.

The next day you go to his house because his mother called—I can't get a hold of Riku!—so you run into his house, looking in every room because he isn't answering when he calls over and over RIKURIKURIKU! Then finally you notice the floor, and there on the beautiful white carpet, are drips of bright red, and they're going all the way to the bathroom, where the door is shut in an ominous way. You sneak closer and closer, dread eating you from the inside out…

…and before you know it you're pushing open the door.

There he is, covered in blood, every bit of him. He doesn't seem to notice you, he's only looking at the knife in his hand—God, why is it so red?—but then he finally looks up at you, and you can see the relief in his eyes—it's so nice to see it in his eyes, but you wish it weren't there-- but you still don't understand!

"Why?"

You expect almost anything out of him, anything, everything…but you don't expect the smile. The smiles, and the harsh breathing, as he says, "Silly Sora," He laughs. "Happiness is for the good guys."

commercials never seemed so evil…

A/N: I hope you liked this. It was a new style of writing for me, and when I originally wrote it I was so unconfident about it. Now, while trying to get away from my writer's block with Listless…it's the most beautiful thing I've ever written. -Insert Sarcasm-

Hope you liked. Read and review.
