Pairings: House/Wilson SLASH!
No flames please. Don't like? Don't read. Simple really.
Wilson was sitting in the cafeteria eating his lunch like usual when House walked in. On the outside, Wilson huffed. Everybody knew that Wilson got annoyed that his best friend always seemed to steal his food. On the inside, Wilson smiled. He loved it that House always sought him out when he was hungry. He didn't care that he bought. He preferred the company.
House walked into the cafeteria when he spotted Wilson. He couldn't make it look like he was looking for his friend. That would look way to obvious. "You like me," House stated blandly when he sat down. It was just like House to never try to sugarcoat it.
Inside, Wilson's heart was pounding. Fear filled him up to the point of almost bursting. Outside, Wilson was used to this point of truthfulness from House. Though House liked to avoid . Wilson suddenly had a thought, "In which way do you speak of?"
House shrieked back, maybe it wasn't true. Why did he ever listen to his little ducklings? After a silence settled over the table, he broke the silence. Speaking rather soft he asked, "Did you ever read the Harry Potter Series?" Without waiting for an answer, he spoke on, "The character of Lavender reminds me much of your wives. Annoying, rude, needy. The author only put her there to create obstacles for Ron and Hermione Granger. All through the series, Ron and Miss Granger are best friends who fight and flirt a lot (depending your opinion). Though they both have significant others at different times, the thought of the other having somebody else causes them to fight horribly but still are there for each other at the end of the day. At the end of the series, they kiss and get married." House finished with a rather sarcastic voice.
Wilson smiled, "And?"
House frowned, knowing that this time he was going to have to do the talking. "Does that not remind you of some people you know?"
"If you talking about Cuddy and you," Wilson said blandly.
House rolled his eyes, "Weren't you listening!"
Wilson nodded, a duh look crossed his features.
House threw up his hands, "Cuddy and I aren't even friends!"
Wilson's smile grew, "Cameron and you?"
House glared, "Guess again."
"Foreman and Cameron."
"Guess again," House grounded out between his teeth.
Wilson smirked, "You'll have to give me a clue."
House huffed, "The story wasn't enough?"
"No."
"Fine. Here's a clue. You and I are best friends. We argue constantly. I hate your wives."
Wilson faked a puzzle smile, "You mean to tell me that you think you and I are going to kiss and get married one of these days?"
House smiled suddenly, "BINGO!"
Wilson suddenly clammed up. House looked at his friend, scooting his chair over. Giving Wilson the puppy dog eyes, "You don't like me?"
Wilson looked at House, "Do you want me too?"
House nodded. He was suddenly seemingly unaware what might happen for now on. Did he just ruin a friendship?
Wilson smiled, "Good 'cause I do."
House stood up, not answering. He started walking away, "I knew that all along."
Later that day, House called Wilson up for a consult. Before Wilson could even close the door, House pulled his friend into a kiss. Deepening the kiss, A thought came to Wilson , "Cameron told you?"
House pulled away, he really hoped his friend was kidding. He nodded, "Yeah. I don't even want to know how she found out." House shook his head. At least, one duckling wouldn't have a hard attack tomorrow morning when House walked in his office with a smile on his face.
