Pikapi

Disclaimer: Pokemon belongs to some big flashy companies, not me.
I'm watching you fall to the floor yet again, consumed by pain. That awful device Team Rocket
set up is causing you to feel the same pain as your Pokemon, and there's nothing I can do but
watch. I wish you'd choose me, Ash, because I know I can beat them! I could do anything for
you.
I can feel your determination like you're a part of me, and I think you are. A deep part. I know
how badly you want to win. And I'll be here, standing at your side, for whenever you need me.
Oh, Ash, if you only knew how useless I feel! I hate just standing on the sidelines. I want to rush
onto the arena and let loose a great bolt of energy, but I know you'll be disappointed if I do. You
want to win this of your own accord, no matter what pain it causes you...
But don't you see how this is affecting me?
Misty, Brock, Gary and his cheerleaders are watching on in fascinated horror as you receive jolt
after jolt of agony. Gary--that human boy--repeats over and over again, "He can't do it." He
doesn't know you, Ash. My resolve strengthens with every time he says that, and I know yours
does, too. We will get through this!
It occurs to me again how much I admire you, how grateful I am to be your partner. Your
determination pulls you through no matter what's in your way. You've taught me a lot, my
friend. And I know, somewhere inside, that my doubts are groundless. Of course you're going to
come through this! You're Ash Ketchum, future Pokemon Master!
Oh, I do worry about you, Ash, but only because I love you. I don't know what it is about you,
but you... shine. Brock once called you a diamond in the rough, and I agree. You're facing a great
big challenge but you'll overcome it, because of who you are.
I smile bravely as you drop to your knees, because I know you'll get through it. I hope you know how proud I am of you, my Ash.
