Zach pouted as hard as humanly possible to his young wife Rosette. She was almost a foot shorter than him, which isn't saying much since he was 6'5", strawberry blonde hair and murky green eyes. Rosy sighed and pulled a white camisole shirt over her head.
"No," she said firmly.
"Come on," he pled scrambling from the end to the bed, placing his hands on her hips. "I'm horrible with secrets!" he whined.
"Yes, I know." She sighed. "It's just three more days." She said wrapping her arms around his neck, standing on her tip toes.
"That's likeā¦ Three years in keep-it-secret time!" he yelled incredulously.
"Please, I want my parents to know before everyone else." She asked grabbing his face, making him look down at her.
"Why?" he asked confused.
"Because they're important to me!" she answered flicking the end of his nose gently.
"Yeah well my friends are important to me too." He said almost smugly.
She stepped back, with one hand on her hip, resting heavily on one leg. "You're trying to guilt trip your pregnant wife?" she asked threateningly.
"You sound surprised." He said with knitted brows. She huffed and rolled her eyes. He pulled his 25 year old wife to his chest. "Please?" he asked with his puppy dog face.
She sighed loudly, leaning into his lean chest. "They can come to the dinner, it will be a big surprise." She murmured, wrapping her arms around his chest.
"Really?" he asked happily.
"Yeah," she smiled lazily.
"I love you!" he shouted before grabbing her face and kissing her full on the mouth. She laughed as he pulled away and started scrambling for his cell phone. "I have to tell Will." He mumbled as he threw around the bed covers.
"Zach!" she yelled.
"About dinner!" he said defensively, walking into their bathroom. "Found it!" he yelled, she shook her head and finished getting dressed while listening in on her husband's conversation with his best friend. He came out a few minutes later.
"Him and Layla coming?" she asked as she pulled her hair back into a bun.
"Yup, and Warren." He said tucking his phone in his pocket. "I'll ask Ethan and Magenta at work." He added, and then pulled her to him. "Thanks for letting them come, Babe."
"You owe me, Sweet-Cheeks." She said sweetly, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him lightly on the lips.
"Hey! I am giving you a handsome kid!" he shouted. She laughed and sat on the edge of the bed to get her shoes on.
"What if it's a girl?" she asked with a smirk.
"Then she better look like you." He sighed. She laughed as he sat next to her and brought his hand to her still flat stomach. "It's crazy, in seven months, we'll be parents." He said in awe.
"Yup," she sighed, resting her hand on his. They both stared at her stomach for a while. Imagining how her stomach would look in later months, and then finally, a baby. "We should get on the road before traffic." She said softly, nodding at the clock on the wall.
"Almost forgot about work!" Zach panicked scrambling to get his shoes on.
"You would forget for head if it wasn't attached to your neck." She said shaking her head, calmly grabbing her purse and the keys to their car.
"You know you love me." He said slyly, tossing his arm over her shoulders.
"So that's why I married you!" she called out. He laughed and pulled her close and kissed her head. She smiled and leaned against him, wondering what she did to deserve him, not knowing he was thinking the same thing.
