My Heart.

If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.

It was true. If Katara could have just one wish, she would wish to have Zuko to wake her up everyday. But unfortunately, Zuko had to become the new Fire Lord, when his father died. Still he came home every few months, but he was always gone the next morning. Thankfully Katara had produced a child, due to their lovemaking. When Zuko had found out, he had been ecstatic. Kian their baby boy was three years old. Katara knew that when the Fire Nation would accept a water bender as their new Fire Lady, Zuko would abandon Mai for her. Still, it was hard to receive news of Mai's latest pregnancy, this one the third. Mai knew that Zuko's heart did not belong to her and for that Katara was grateful. Still it hurt her to think about the fact the Zuko had slept with another woman. That was why; she was sitting on this sandy beach, alone waiting for Zuko to arrive. She needed another child. She needed to touch him. To kiss him. To wake up in the morning with him, just as Mai did. Envy, wasn't something that Katara liked, but she was happy there was such a feeling, or otherwise, she wouldn't be here. She watched as the shadow of the boat crept closer, and as the shadow of a man around 24 jumped from it and started racing towards her. She jumped up, and ran towards him to. When she had reached him he had engulfed her in a hug. When they had broke apart, she looked him sternly in the eye and asked, "Zuko, do you love Mai?"

"Of course not, my love, you know my heart belongs with you." She had pushed him over, and fell on top of him, and kissed him passionately. They had made love and in the morning he was still there. It was then she knew that her heart and his heart belonged to each other.

My Heart. My Heart. My Heart. My Heart.

AN: Like it? Love it? Then R&R. Poem by Courtney Kuchta on a website called Love It's number three. Avatar belongs to Nickelodeon and so do that characters. Kian is mine. This is just a drabble, explaining Katara's feelings, but if you want a squeal I will be happy to make a short one. On another note: Last HP is in my hands. Whooh!

Ta Ta,
