Summary: Ky comes home and asks Sol what he's doing. The answer he gets is…unexpected.

"I'm home!"

Ky lightly pushed the door shut with the tip of his foot, keeping his hold of the two grocery bags he was carrying. The Frenchman made his way towards the kitchen, catching a glimpse of Sol sitting on the living room couch. He seemed to be doing something, but couldn't see what since his back was facing him.

"So, what've you been doing while I was away?" he asked from the kitchen, starting to put the food away

"Eh, nothing much. Just going down Rainbow Road."

The blonde nearly dropped the carton of eggs he was holding, but had somehow managed to catch them before the hit the floor, "P-pardon?"

"I said I was going down Rainbow Road. I've been thinking about it for a while, but then I thought, 'Might as well give it a shot'."

Ky paused for a moment to take in the information. It was so sudden to hear news like this. Took time to sink in, you know? He never would have guessed that Sol swung 'that way'. But nevertheless, he'll give all the support he could. Sol was still his roommate and best friend, gay or not.

"I see…So have you told anyone else?" the blue-eyed officer asked, resuming his task

"Huh? Why would I?"

"Je ne sais pas…Don't you think you should?"

"Not…really. It's not that important, anyway."

Ky could understand that much. Sol was probably worried that the others might see him in a new light because of his orientation. But their friends weren't like that at all. It's not like they'll crack jokes or be disgusted. Still, he'll let the brunette take his time

"Alright. But just so you know, it's okay if you tell somebody. No one'll hate you for it."

"I know." The pyro replied, "But I don't think it's such a big deal in the first place. The others'll probably tell me off for wasting their time with something so trivial."

"Oh, c'mon, they wouldn't do that. I mean, Venom's on the same road as you and the others took it just fine."

"Venom? But I'm not on multiplayer."

"…Multiplayer?"

Ky went into the living room, confused. What on Earth was he talking about? And what is he so preoccupied with? He walked over to Sol, who was still facing away from him. Peering over the brunette's shoulder, he saw that his roommate was playing Mario Kart™ on his red DS. The track he had chosen looked like outer space, with a rainbow-colored pavement twisting throughout the dual screens. In the upper screen, the blonde saw Yoshi making a jump after it had passed over a rainbow-speed-mat on a ramp.

"Oh…that Rainbow Road…"

"Of course. What else did you think I meant?" Realization dawned upon the prototype Gear as Yoshi fell off the track, "…You thought I was gay, didn't you?"

"Uh…"

"…Kiske, I'll give you three seconds to run."

"Eep!"

Heheh…So how was it? Good, bad, boring, cliché? Send in your thoughts. Yes, I know that Sol and Ky may seem a bit OOC. But I couldn't resist.

You know, this reminds me of Holy Zen! for some reason…I dunno why… Oh well. Hope you all enjoyed it!
