Maybe...possibly...a lover? How stupid of her to think of such a thing. The man she loved was gone. He had sacrificed his own life to save the people that doubted him – the one that held prejudice against him just because he was a replica. He died for people that thought he was just an inferior clone that had no feelings – no life.

Replicas do have emotions.

Luke fon Fabre had shown her that.

When she first met him, he had shown anger and confusion.After Akzeriuth, he had shown sorrow and regret.After his promise of change, he had shown respect and content.At the Sephiroths, he had shown worry and gratitude.At the Tower of Rem, he had shown fear.

It had been yet that she's seen him truly happy. He would smile, laugh, and all that but he never seemed so happy that nothing could get in his way of living his life.

She probably wouldn't ever be able to see him truly happy.

He was gone...but he promised her that he would come back! He will come back.

Right?

Crystal droplets slipped down the young woman's face, her eyes moist as she tried to hold in her sobs. She just wanted to see him again. To see if he could truly be happy.

Putting her hands to her face, she did her best to cover her eyes and wipe the tears away at the same time.

She didn't even get to tell him to his face about how she really felt about him.

Luke fon Fabre:

A noble.
A swordsman.
A son.
A friend.
A replica.
A hero.
A loved one.

Tear regretted not being able to see him smile again. Or see him laugh. Or see herself love him.

But most of all...

"Never again, will I see him live...This is regret."

Was reading some Lukear fanfiction and watching the cutscenes. Felt like writing something kind of emotional about how Tear must have felt when Luke sacrificed himself - note: this is before he comes back in that sweet scene at the very end. Gosh, that was pure love right there XD
