Title: Though I May

Summary: some of Aragorn's thought when he is far from home. "No matter where I go, no matter how long I am gone, I will always go back to that place, the place I call my home." Originally, it was for the Teitho entry, "Home is Where the Heart Is," (there was a story to go with this) but the plotbunnies abandoned me, leaving me with this poem. I thought it would be a pity to waste this, and finally decided to post it.

Though I may

Though I may go and leave my family,

To travel the earth,

To see new things,

---

Though I may be gone for many days,

On some mission,

Trekking through the wilderness,

---

Though I may feel alone in the my wanderings,

The nights dark and dreary,

The outlook bleak and dim,

---

I know there is one place I can go,

The one place where I receive healing,

Love,

Care.

It is my home.

---

No matter where I go,

No matter how long I am gone,

I will always go back to that place,

The place I call my home.

------

Though I may see countless wonders,

Witness strange things,

Experience unusual moments,

---

Though I may shun the world and its pettiness,

Longing for something more,

Something deeper, something greater,

---

Though I may feel hated by all,

Scorned by many,

Abandoned by false friends,

---

I know of one place that will always accept me,

No matter whom I am,

No matter what I do,

They will always cherish me,

When I am at home.

---

No matter where I go,

No matter how long I am gone,

I will always go back to that place,

The place I call my home.
