A/N: First Riku/Roxas, woo! Inspired by the line "the final stop at the end of the universe." Uh…yeah. Written for a dear friend very quickly, unbetaed at 12.44 am, which is the reason why it may suck. Leave a review if you so desire; it's fun!
Final
There's really no knowing what to do now. They're stuck here, the final stop at the end of the universe with no place left to go. They are jaded, they are stuck spinning without compasses or any written directions home, wherever the hell that is or was. (The thing is, neither of them really care.)
So it's natural that the space between them begins to fall away. The final stop at the end of the universe is a very lonely place, and if you're by yourself, it's sure to drive you mad with its stagnant pools and meteor-torn sky and dead plains. They lean against each other, collarbones appearing and disappearing as they breathe in a rhythm they find together, back to back and hand in hand, substitutiary replacements for what they really left behind and what they pretended to love.
But here, at the final stop at the end of the universe, there's really nothing to do but wait and so they'll wait together, whisper promises and hold on tight when the nights get cold with stardust, lean over each other to somewhat hide from the rain, sway back in forth in a cycle of come-too-close and then move-too-far.
Because at the final stop at the end of the universe, all they really need is each other, to keep the final moment far far away, where it really belongs.
