Xehanort's Rebirth
The man crawled down the road between light and darkness, barely even alive. His name was Xemnas, and he was the leader of Organization XIII. Or….. He was once. Now he was all that remained of the organization. Organization XIII had tried to create a Kingdom Hearts, the heart of all worlds so that they could finally exist. But at the last minute, he was defeated, by the chosen wielders of the legendary Keyblades. Now he struggled just to stay alive. He was trying to travel on the road between darkness and light, but he did not think he was getting anywhere. Suddenly he saw a figure, in the same state as he was coming into view. And just as they both looked up, Xemnas recognized him. It was, without a doubt, the Heartless of the person he used to be. The Heartless of the man Xehanort looked up at Xemnas and knew that this was his Nobody. They both put up their hand, and as their hands connected there was a blinding flash of light. And as the light faded, only one person was standing there, with features of both of the men. The Heartless and the Nobody had recombined into the Dark Lord Xehanort. Xehanort stood up, healed and filled with new strength. With a shock, he realised that he had remembered everything. Without even knowing why he held out his hand, and in his hand a ball of dark energy had appeared, and was forming something. Then with a flash of light, he was holding a swordlike key. "My Dark Keyblade," said Xehanort to himself. Then he smiled to himself. "I have power over the Heartless and the Nobodies. I can bring back the inner circle and Organization XIII. I can finally create an army powerful enough to destroy the other wielders of the Keyblade. Then I will have all the Keyblades, and I will rule every world." Then he held out his hand and a dark portal appeared out of nowhere. With a triumphant smile, he stepped through into the darkness and vanished.
