I've been attacked by a fluff monster! Help, I don't do fluff!

And I still don't own these guys. ::Frown::

Swing

"What is that?"

Sora and Cloud both looked up. Cloud nudged his head toward the pair on the back step. He returned to his project as Sora turned to explain. "It's called a tire swing, Leon."

The man frowned at the tone Sora used. Did he just treat him like a four year old?

"Well, duh, Sora." Riku folded his arms. "But why is it here?"

"Well, obviously, Cloud and I are putting it up." Sora explained in that patient tone. "We found an old tire and thought it would be kinda fun to make a tire swing out of it."

Riku looked over at Cloud quizzically. The blonde had climbed the large tree and was working on firmly tying the rope of the swing around a large branch. "Ok, I can see Sora thinking something like that but you don't strike me as the backyard swing type."

Cloud grunted as he slipped a little. He quickly regained his balance and with a final yank, looked down. "Try it now, Sora."

"Okay." The small brunette grabbed the top of the tire and hopped his legs through. He swung back and forth a little, bouncing a few times. "I think this will be good."

"Humm." Cloud didn't look quite convinced. Suddenly he fixed his blue eyes on Riku. "Come here and get on the swing with Sora."

"Why?" Riku narrowed his eyes. "I hate swings."

"Oh, come on, Riku."

"No."

"Fine, then you do it Leon."

The man gave him a cool gaze. In response, Sora widened his eyes and pouted. Leon suddenly found himself walking toward the tree.

"He's got you so whipped." Riku laughed.

Leon glared over his shoulder. He reached Sora and raised an eye.

"Here," Sora shifted his feet. "Just stand on here beside me."

A snicker from above made Leon shift his scowl up. Cloud was watching him, highly amused. Leon said nothing, letting his expression convey his words. Then he gripped the rope and stood on the tire's inner rim with Sora.

The rope pulled a little with the added weight but held. Satisfied, Cloud started climbing down. As he came down, Leon looked to Sora. "Care to explain what brought this on?"

"I like swings. We had a really cool one back home. Not only was it a swing, Riku rigged it to slid along another rope and it would spin as you came down." Sora leaned his body back, sending the tire out further.

Leon watched Sora close his eyes, letting the breeze brush his face and blow back his bangs. He looked so free. He smiled some and added his weight to Sora's efforts to get the swing higher.

Sora grinned, pressing himself closer. Leon moved his arm to wrap around those petite shoulders and retook the rope. Then they just swung.

Cloud reached the step and turned. He and Riku watched the pair for several minutes. "I figured Marlene and Denzel would like it when they came to visit."

Riku nodded. He reached out for Cloud's arm and pulled him up the last two steps. Once this was done, he wrapped arms around the smaller man's waist. "I'm sure they'll love it as much as Sora does."

"Leon seems to be enjoying himself." The older brunette was nuzzling the younger one's neck. "Amazing how fast the tough guy thing disappears around Sora."

"Yeah, I still don't really get it but they're happy." Riku slowly ran the tip of his nose along the shell of Cloud's ear.

Cloud turned within the silver haired one's arms. Out by the tree, the swing had slowed considerably as the occupants turned their efforts on one another. Noticing this, Cloud smirked. "Think we should leave them be?"

"For just this once I suppose." Riku lead Cloud into the house. "We'll give 'em ten minutes then send Yuffie on them."
