But as quickly as the light had come…it was gone. In the abyss I heard a voice, first faint but then glass shattering loud. It was Edward, he was calling my name. As I opened my eyes I saw two figures struggling. The blurriness died down and I soon realized that the two figures where struggling and it was Edward and Carlisle. I mustered out a sound.

"sssSTOP"

But then the abyss came for me again. But this time my arm was on FIRE. I looked at my arm and saw… teeth marks, immediately after I fainted but not before seeing Edward frowning.

I swayed in and out of consciousness. Occasionally hearing my name here and there, with whispers and murmurs, then…abruptly…it all stopped. The whispers, my body ablaze and the abyss. Then I saw Edward…in fact the entire Cullen family above me. All smiling, except Edward. I gave a confused look then looked down at my hand and noticed I was as white as Edward!

"Hi" said Rosaline, "welcome back!"

"thanks" I finally said.

"Um I hate to be a bore but…"

I suddenly realized I am not breathing, and panicked. I tried to gather air into my lungs but it was no use. I didn't NEED to breathe. I looked up and saw that Carlisle had a black eye.

"What happened?"

Then it dawned on me…the fight…the bite…it all came back so soon…

"So…what now?" I said.
