FASH: I've noticed that there isn't enough Monta fandom out there, unless it's all stored somewhere where I'm not looking. So, here we are.
Disclaimer: I own up to volume thirteen of the manga, but other than that I own nothing! Wah!

Raimon Taro, he didn't really mind being called Monta since it was kind of like Sena's nick name for him, even though in reality it was just because Sena read his name wrong, his 'nick name' apparently being derived from a famous American Football player was just an added bonus as far as he was concerned. But sometimes, he kind of wished Sena would call him by his real name.
They'd been fairly close ever since they'd first met, their bonds of friendship tightening as they went through Hiruma's hellish training together, hung out together, played their best together.
They were each other's closest friend, and ever so often when the mood struck them they'd become just a little bit more than friends.
"Monta." Sena would say, his voice softer than normal as he leaned a bit closer and Monta would mimic the movement until their lips touched together lightly, they'd always pull away fairly quickly, both of them would be blushing but Sena was always redder as he shyly gripped Monta's hand, leaning against the other boy's shoulder and saying. "I really like you Monta." And Monta would reply that he liked Sena too, very much.
Every one called Sena by his first name and everyone called Monta: Monta, that's just how it was, but someday, he'd get Sena to call him by his given name.
So one day as they were hanging out in Sena's room after practice Monta carefully brought the topic up.
"You can still call me Monta at school and during practice and stuff, but maybe, when we're alone, you could call me by my real name?" Sena looked at him curiously. "Call you Raimon?" Monta shifted nervously, a light pink hue making itself known on his cheeks. "Actually, I was thinking that maybe you could call me Taro."
Sena blushed a bit, the number of people he was on first name basis with was quite a limited few. "Sh-Should I call you Taro-kun?" He managed to stutter out and Monta turned to him. "Nah, we're close enough that we don't need any honorifics, right?" Sena nodded and shifted a bit closer to the other boy.
"T-Taro." "Mm-hmm?" Sena leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before pulling back with the usual blush on his face. "I really like you Taro." And Taro, as usual, replied that he liked Sena too, very much.
