This is a poem about when Lucy sees a sea girl herding fish from the sea girl's perspective.

For Kristi the Fisherdess.

The Fisherdess

I was watching the sea weed sway

Hearding the fish all day long

'twas like any other day

Until a shadow came along

I looked and saw up high

A sight I'd never seen

Where the water meets the sky

A strange thing, large and green

On the side Leaning over the edge

Of about my own age, was a girl

She smiled from up there high on the ledge

Her hair blew by the wind in a swirl

The shape soon passed far on

The fish continued to graze

Just one second and she's gone

But I'll remember her always
