So here's a little idea that popped into my head one day... I remembered that Sora knew all about Christmas and was excited about going to see Santa and all in KHII, and then I started wondering about the other holidays as well. From there, I thought of the Organization and whether or not they celebrated holidays. Some random thoughts here...

Hopefully you'll like it! It's on the short side, but I thought it came out alright.

Disclaimer: Roxas, Naminé, and the rest of the KH crew don't belong to me.

"Valentine's Day? What?"

The incredulous look on his face made her giggle, shielding her mouth with her hand. He pulled her fingers away.

"Don't cover your smile, I like it."

She brushed a stray hair from her face, grinning.

"Of course, Valentine's Day... didn't they ever tell you about it?"

He raised an eyebrow. "You honestly think that the Organization would tell me about something that's called Valentine's Day? Maybe Marluxia..." he said with a grin.

She sighed, lifting her hands to lace her fingers with his own.

"Valentine's Day," she started with a sweet smile, "is a day for people who feel whole together."

Roxas blinked.

"Like me and Sora?"

"NO!"

She dropped his hand and pressed her fingers to her temple; this wasn't working.

"Roxas, Valentine's Day... is for people who care a lot about each other."

He nodded stiffly; he didn't want to upset her again.

Naminé shifted next to him, playing with the hem of her white dress.

"It's a day for people who want to be together for the rest of their lives. A day for people who would die for each other."

She paused, hesitating.

"A day for people who... love each other."

Roxas had visibly relaxed at this, a small smile playing on his face.

"Oh, yeah?"

The blond girl nodded slowly, waiting for him to be outraged, scream, yell, maybe hit her, throw something...

But she was startled when a pair of warm lips were pressed against her own. She closed her eyes and melted into his arms, smiling when he pulled away.

"I think we've got hearts, even if we can't feel them beat," he said softly. He slung an arm lazily over her shoulder. She could feel her cheeks heating up, her face turning a deeper shade of red.

"Was that okay?" he asked, furrowing his brows.

Then she looked up at him, his blue eyes filled with some kind of warmth she couldn't quite put her finger on... and she couldn't help but snuggle into the crook of his arm, to rest her head on his shoulder and lead his hand down to her waist.

"Absolutely perfect."

Read? Review? Love it? Hate it?

I'd love to know.
