A/N: This is just a babbly stream-of-consciousness type of thing. Will/Jack. Rated T+ for sexual content. Slash.
Disclaimer: Jack and Will are not of my imagination, but that of the genius writers of Will&Grace
Will looked out of the window
At the happy people outside
Laughing, dancing
Twirling in the lightly falling snow
Catching snowflakes on their tongues
He watched and analyzed
Trying to figure out their secret
How to be happy
There should be a for dummies book on that, he thought
With a sigh he closed the curtains
Blocking out the twilight
The setting sun
The twinkling lights of New York City
He sank to the floor, holding his chest
Squeezing his eyes shut, holding back the sobs
Emptiness surrounded him, darkness ensued
Curled up in the fetal position is how Jack found him
Seeing his friend his brow furrowed
Confused at the sorrow
That so consumed his confidante
But it was Jack's rule that no questions be asked
Only comfort…
And so the two friends sat
One holding the other
Tears cascading down their faces
Because one friend's pain was the others
Jack wiped away Will's tears
And kissed his cheek
Held his hand
Will saw him
For the first time
After all this time
He saw the truth
The truth in Jack's soft, bright eyes
Tranquil calm transpired
As one looked at the other
Love clear in their eyes
A sweet kiss
A passionate kiss
For all the wrong reasons
That were oh-so-right
It ended quickly
But much was said
In that one kiss
That swept them away
A kiss that was so fleeting
But meant so much
A kiss that held their eyes locked
Everything was changed
Now and forever
The emotions took hold
Pent up anger and energy and love consumed
Them as they clutched at one another
Knowing that they were heading down a path
Where there was no looking back
Every fiber of their beings cried out for one another
No one else could bother
Because their souls were meant for each other
All this time
They just couldn't see
But now is now
Now is their time
And the kiss deepened
Jack was trusting
Will was brave
As they went into the bedroom
No other thoughts could they claim
But their beings intertwining
And their bodies craving
The one thing that they had so shied away from
Will was nervous
And Jack was scared
But that did not quell the passion
That they both did bear
Their lips met, once, twice
Their hands searching
Legs tangling
Hair mussed
Eyes closed
Breathing heavy
Fingers unbuttoning
Ties being loosened
Their bodies becoming free of the constrictions
That barred them from soft, smooth flesh
And as they became one
There was a soft whisper amidst the moans
"I love you"
And they flew away
Together
Forever
In ecstasy
